That’s a Christmas Krampus. So, it’s NOT Halloween.
So, A+ for the parents and their humor.
Good kids get a a visit from St Nic, Bad kids gets kidnapped by the Krampus and get beaten by a birch.

That’s one messed up way to celebrate Christmas…

Last Halloween I was looking for creepy pictures to put in our entryway for a Halloween party and this one came up. People liked all of the pictures and said I should leave them up. I did and it’s a funny conversation starter the first time people come over. Long story short, this picture is in the entry stairs leading into my house.

  7. Ghola says:

Those are definitely Krampus costumes. This is Christmas.

In Newfoundland, instead of carolers they have mummers that disguise themselves and sing at your doorstep, and if you can’t guess their identity you have to give them a drink. Maybe this the explanation?

  9. Jenna says:

    Haha awesome

  10. Dee says:

It’s definitely Krampus and a Christmas photo as Cat stated.

  11. Robert says:

Oh my god I love this. It’s terrifying.

The kid has seen the menu and discovered he is it!

  13. Tamka says:

This looks like St. Nicholas Eve (December 5), when St. Nicholas visits kids with angels and devils to see if they were naughty or nice the past year. Usually, sadistic parents tell the devils to take the kid away because they are so bad. And traumas like these are the result…

  14. Harry says:

    That is one disturbing photo.

What is the story behind this?

  15. Cat says:

It’s Krampus so this is a Christmas photo.
