  1. Lisa says:

I’m pretty sure those are the bride’s parents, and he is not the groom. At least I hope so, that would make a lot more sense.

  2. Rachel P says:

Alternately, he could be the groom and it’s his mother, not hers. Also, they might not be going in for a kiss, but she might be trying to say something to him and he’s turned his head to hear her better.

  3. Katie says:

‘Dad’ is a bit of a silver fox!!!

  4. kaydeekay says:

That man is not old enough to be the bride’s father. That’s her husband – the Groom. The flowers in her bouquet and his boutonniere are a match and they are both in white.

    • Rachel P says:

No, I don’t think so! Look at the jawline, almost identical to the bride. It’s father, mother and daughter.

    • hairslayer says:

My parents all had a matching boutonnière and corsages to my bouquet. Just because his flowers match the bride’s didn’t mean he is the groom. He difinitely could be the father.

  5. Ali says:

Even better than the moment Lisa Minnelli and David Gest touched lips.

  6. Rachel says:

Haha this is hilarious!! What a mishap! I’m assuming that he is obviously her husband, for they’re both wearing whit! He went in for a kiss to his mom, she was telling him something and the camera person snapped the picture way to early!

  7. Reina says:

It’s obvious that the couple in white are the bride and groom. plus the fact that the groom’s corsage and the bride’s bouquet match. I doubt that gentleman is past his mid to late 40′s- it look like he’s just prematurely greying to me.

  8. Kristen says:

It’s a depth of field trick here – mom was leaning in to speak into his ear, he was bending down to listen – photographer caught just the right angle…

  9. generickat says:

I suppose this is why you should never wear white to a wedding. Confusion ensues.

  10. rageandcontempt says:

I’m not so sure. He doesn’t look old enough to be her Dad! I think that’s definitely her Husband…..but open mouth kissing his Mom…..?

  11. Haggie says:

To all those saying this is mother/father and bride, here is my answer:

    We can only hope…

  12. LaDonna says:

I think it is the father and mother of the bride in a family shot lol

  13. Monty says:

It’s obviously her parents taking the photo with her.

  14. Robert Ferro says:

That looks like the bride’s father and mother. I’m sure she has seen them kiss (even open mouth) before.

  15. Jackie says:

Um…isn’t it obvious this is probably her father, not her husband?
