This is delightful
I love this
I just keep coming back to this one. At one point I couldn’t find it and almost panicked! LOL! What a amazing loving energy you both had and still have. I wish I knew you then and now. Congratulations.
I adore this. Somehow it makes me shed a wee tear.
There are so many good ones on this site. But this one totally nailed it. xD
This one is equal parts touching and funny to me…you can just feel the real affection, both in the then and now picture. Seeing this just made my day0 thanks for posting it!
Honestly… I want to frame this and look at it every day, it’s adorable and funny at the same time… amazing effort guys
You guys are the best! Just too cute. What a lovely moment of brotherly love. Kudos to your amazing and beautiful recreation!
You might as well stop. You will never get a better recreation than this.
They had a close bond when young and obviously still do, best effort so far.
I just love this photo. And… being a Stephen King fan, I really think this should be the cover art for his next book. Sort of reminiscent of “Stand by Me” and “It” all mixed into one
Gets dusty in the room every time I see this pic. Just love it.
They even got Tats! I bet your mom loved this for her birthday! Great pic then and now!
So adorable, then and now!
This makes me so happy!
This recreation made my whole day! The love in the awkwardness is incredibly precious!
Oh… I Love IT!!!!!
Wow! Who knew when we re-created this shot for our mom’s 70th birthday, it’d get such a nice respone! For those inquiring about the stars n stripes tank-top – yep, it’s homemade. That’s the delicate work of my über-talented little (but yes – now taller) brother Jordan. The backpack we found at a thrift store. We were on a family hike that day, and toward the end of it Jordy got tired and began to cry. The shot is of me comforting him in his time of need. He’s a bit tougher now. ~Jeff (The big, but now shorter, brother).
What a good big brother you were (are)
This is so sweet. You guys are adorable
Ha! This is so great to read all your comments! I’m the crying brother with the tanktop, and yes, I did recreate it with a blank white tank top and a lot of red markers. My brother is the one hugging me because we were on a long hike and I was tired and my dad gave me the ol’ “tough it up kinda speech”. Apparently then, once the tears started flowing, my dad found it entertaining to snap a shot. And in a rare moment of big brotherly love, my older brother comforted me with a hug.
All of these are great, and this one is great-great! These guys look like they were fun kids and yet still fun adults. Good on ya!
love it! by far the least creepy/best re-creation yet..
I agree! They put some effort into recreating a truly interesting photo.
Another winner! Love these guys!!
I’m pretty sure the tank top in the second pic is handmade…cute!
Awesome recreation! Kudos to the time and effort in recreating the clothes…I bet these guys are tons of fun!
This is adorable. It looks to me like the boy on the left is going off to school and the other is staying behind and neither of the pair is happy about it. Good to know they’re still fond of each other today.
I’m guessing they took a white tank top and recreated that shirt. Very clever if they did.
i’m jealous of his blue backpack
Where on earth did he find an adult version of that stars and stripes tank top?!? Ha!!!
It looks homemade…
my thoughts exactly!! and the backpack?!
This is one of my favorite recreations! They look like people I’d hang with, then and now.
I love these recreations! :3 So cute.
Love, love, love this!!! How he found a stars and stripes tank top is by far the most amazing part of this photo. I would really like to know, though, why these boys were so sad!
What funny is that the one on the right is now taller than the other guy.
Best recreation yet simply because they put in the effort to get the same clothes.
THIS is too funny. I love it.
