Man, do I ever wish I could get a pair of saddle shoes like those for my toddler son. Those are so freakin’ cute!

my god that baby is huge!

  3. Shannon says:

Forget about the grammar, I want to know the weight of this “baby”!! That collar had to have been choking the poor kid. What a chunk!

  4. Brandy says:

I want to see a recreate of this one.

  5. Anne says:

The sling in that baby seat looks pretty uncomfortable.

  6. Wendy Jane says:

“Bring me Solo and the Wookiee.”

  8. anne says:

This could be my brother and me! I love the clothes, so cute!

    • Russ says:

Right on, I love the 60’s era photos …and kudos, Anne, for knowing when to use “my brother and me” instead of “my brother and I.”

      • Becky says:

Actually, “This is my brother and I” is correct because “is” is a linking verb requiring the use of the subjective “I”. Great picture!

        • Ummm, no. says:

Actually, no. “My brother and me” is correct. The easy way to test this is to remove the other person. You wouldn’t say “This is I at Christmas,” so you wouldn’t say “This is my brother and I at Christmas.” You should say “This is my brother and me” in the same way you’d be correct to say “This is me.”

The fact that so many people get this so wrong (along with the appalling use of “myself”) is why Russ gives Anne kudos.

Yes, so much yes! Just because you were corrected ONCE and told to say “my brother and I” does not mean it is appropriate in every case!

I will never understand why they don’t do a better job of teaching “imagine you’re only talking about yourself.” “This is I” makes no sense so you wouldn’t use it!

            WTF, lol, who cares.
