First Timers - Babies

“This was taken a few weeks ago during our first family portrait. A friend thought it was staged, but it’s not at all. After about 10 minutes of taking pictures it was getting pretty hard to wrangle my son.  I actually love this photo the most because it really captures the family dynamic well.”

So the family dynamic is…mom lets the son disrespect her??

My thoughts exactly. The kid knows what he’s doing. There are alot of clueless parents out there these days that let their kids run them over. I don’t see how this permissive attitude toward raising children helps the child, or the parents.

Relax people. She is joking. I don’t know how you can go from a funny portrait to permissive parenting. Chill out. It’s called “Awkward Family Photos,” not “Let’s Judge Each Other Because We Can’t Take a Joke.”

LOVE this! It’s the most REALEST, most hilarious family portrait ever. You should get so much enjoyment out of it in the years to come… Congrats on recognizing the greatness of this photo.

Haha I love this! Quite typical.
The child is pushing mum’s face whilst the dad looks over with concern and the child is just staring right at the camera!
