Look up the original Ronald McDonald sometime. Talk about creepy.
The second to last one holy crap! I mean clearly the clown ate the children after the picture was taken!
And you thought “IT” By Stephen King was scary…
Some of those Clowns could seriously be mistaken for Serial Killers.
Serial killer is exactly what I thought when I saw some of them!!
A lot of effort it looks like these clown guys put into looking as clowny as can be. These are the special magical moments from the 1970′s /80′s we will never have duplicated.
Thank heavens for that!
lol some of these people should not be clowns! And omg clowns with beer!
Could Clowns be the reason there is a large amount of people that don’t like Red Head’s ?.
And i’m my Opinion………….. Thats Racist!
Speaking as a redhead?
Ha! My sister if featured on this funky clown series. Taken in round rock texas in the early 80s
I never was particularly afraid of clowns……
Until now. YIKES!
I think I saw John Wayne Gacy in there!
Wow, I hope they collected prints and DNA from these clowns.
Clowns are creepy. When my youngest son was about two we were at an Art in the park activity. A clown approached him and he ran halfway across the park and dived under a table!
A clown at a cemetery??? WHY?????
Bozo the Clown is a beloved children’s show host that was very popular in the 70s and 80s when I was a kid in Chicago. Maybe a bit creepy, but more likely would have elicited screams of excitement rather than fear in his heyday. These days, he would be arrested on creep factor alone.
Holy crap. Clown AND Santa in one picture. So many nightmares guaranteed. Thanks.
I’m pretty sure one of those is John Wayne Gacy.
I’m pretty sure I know which one you mean, because I thought exactly the same thing! Holy crap!
Sadly, none of these children were seen again.
BOZO THE CLOWN!!!! I LOVED THAT SHOW.
One or two of those look like the serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, in his clown costume.
Being persnickety here, but I think the first one is dressed up as Raggedy Anne, like the doll she is holding. Raggedy Anne was not a clown, it was a doll, supposedly made from rags.
