Fowl Language Comics - Awkward Galleries

Greeting card artist and dad of two Brian Gordon is the creator of Fowl Language Comics, a funny, sweet, and often expletive-filled look at parenting. Gordon recently told the Huffington Post he hopes that parents will feel a sense of solidarity when they see his comics. ” A lot of people are hesitant to complain about their kids or admit how mind-numbing certain aspects of parenting can be, but we all experience it. I think it takes the sting out of the frustration when you realize that other parents are going through the same crap you are.”

Check out his hilarious comics for a reminder that we’re all totally screwed… together.

Family Protest

Family Protest - Behind The Awkwardness

“My brother & I were none too pleased with the attire or arrangement of the photo. I was a HUGE tomboy who told her she could dress me up but could NOT make me smile. My brother was mad she put the younger/smaller brother in the higher position.”

Ratty

Ratty - Pets

“This is my absolutely favorite childhood picture of my husband. He was 12 years old. It was taken a day after Easter with his pet rat, that he called RATTY. His birthday was just a few weeks before Easter and my mother-in-law was going to take my husband to JC Penny for his traditional annual birthday picture. He wanted to have his picture taken with RATTY 🙂 And he did! It was shortly after that JC Penney Portrait Studio adopted a policy of no animals in its studios.”
