Picture Day

“For some reason I wasn’t okay with having my picture taken. I struggled to get away from the photographer, even turning my butt to the camera for the class photo. This is me having lost the battle.”

Little House On The Prairie

“Growing up our house was in the country next to an old farm. The original “pump house” or well was in our back yard. My parents thought it would be great to dress in colonial attire and pose in front of the “pump house”. Since it was 1976 my mom had sewn costumes for the bicentennial parade that were riding in and there you go…….the “colonial family” picture. I didn’t know that they had schnauzers and cocker spaniels during that time.”

Anatomy Of A Bouquet Catch

“In the last 6 years, I have caught the bouquet at almost every wedding I’ve attended. So much so that I forget how many I’ve actually caught but can more easily remember how many I haven’t caught (only 3, to be exact.) And on more than one occasion, I’ve snatched it out of the hands of the bride’s only sister… This photo captures not the exception, but rather the norm.”

The Door Way

“Our wedding anniversary happened to fall on the same day of our 31st week of pregnancy. We took a photo honoring both special days, which got a little out of hand (the life ring was the “guest book” at our wedding.)”

My Left Foot

“Swollen left foot on the wedding and well no shoe plus the bowtie got crooked and the ushers tie was too short.”
