The Outfit Checklist

The Outfit Checklist - Teens

“My checklist for leaving the house: plastic visor? Check. Awkward goggles? Check. Pink plastic Swatch watch? Check. Michael Jackson-style glove? Check. Outfit purchased at the thrift store? Check. Self esteem much higher than situation warrants? Check. ‘I’m ready, let’s hit the road!’”

My Many Fashion Mistakes

My Many Fashion Mistakes - Misc

“This was me in 8th grade, in ’92 or ’93. I don’t know what is worse: the perm, the ribbon, the tucked-in shirt that no sensible middle schooler would ever wear, the black shoes with white socks, the way-too-obvious black watch, the ’97 for my graduating year or the fact that I was trying to look cool. Epic fail!”

Baby Crazy

Baby Crazy - Kids

“It’s safe to say I was really proud of my Beanie Baby collection. I do still have all my ‘babies’ and that tie-dye shirt. Don’t have the glasses but I do have a pair of Warby Parkers that look a lot like the ones I was wearing here.”
