Family Portrait

A Mighty Wind

It was crazy windy and this was the only day to take our yearly Christmas pictures that fit our busy schedule. My husband is trying to hold our 1 year old as he’s wiggling around kicking his legs and knocking our middle child in the head causing him to scream. I am trying to keep calm while I’m holding him with a half smile on my face. While our oldest son is waiting patiently for our family photographer  to say, ‘Cheese!’ Needless to say, this picture did make it on the Christmas card and everyone loved it!

Family Bliss

“Pure Family Time Bliss… our photographer told us to kiss trying to show how cute our family is together. This is what she captured. ”

American Revolution

“This is our ONLY professional family photo circa 1980. It was a fundraiser through my school. My mother made me wear my marching band outfit. It was humiliating and not only is the picture forever, it was witnessed by my entire grade school. (I love the pic now though!)”

Parents Kissing

“Just like any other family photo but we were required to have a “parents kissing” photo which we responded to accordingly.”

The Sea Of Galilee

“When I was 14 years old (in 1989), my family moved to Israel, from Canada, for a full year. As you can see from this family photo taken alongside the Sea of Galilee, this was an awkward age for me to live abroad with family.”

Squirrel Bomb

“It wasn’t until I was editing the photos in Lightroom that I noticed the squirrel trying to be a part of the family portrait.”

Matchy-Matchy

This is my boyfriend and I at Central Park this summer. Obviously, no one noticed the matchy-matchy family on the right until later. Got a lot of laughs.
