Grandma’s Grab - Grandma

Grandma’s Grab

“Getting ready to take a memorable photo when Grandma reaches for her granddaughter’s hand just as my uncle snaps the picture. It looks like she’s grabbing at her grandson’s crotch. Lol. This is one for the books.”

Waking The Dead - Kids

Waking The Dead

“While visiting Boston last summer, we decided to walk through a historic graveyard. My husband was taking photos, and my youngest son decided to yell ‘Cheese!’ at the top of his lungs in the quiet historic graveyard filled with quiet respectful visitors. I was attempting to quiet him down. I have no idea what my oldest son is doing. There is just so much going on in this picture.”

Jingle Breath - Kids

Jingle Breath

“My son decided to have a cat bell for a snack. He took the bell right off the collar of the cat and swallowed it. We took him to the ER for surgery, but while we were waiting, all the nurses got a chuckle out of listening to him take deep breaths.”

Ready For Them To Leave - Grandpa

Ready For Them To Leave

“I found this while going through family photos the other night. I asked my Mom and Aunt,”Who’s the old shirtless guy that we seem to LOVE so much?” “Oh! that’s your Great-Grandpa Floyd.”

I can only imagine the mood when this photo was taken: “OK kids! Gather ’round Grandpa! Were going to capture the bliss of this moment and the FUN he is having before we leave!”

Squashed - Kids

Squashed

“We went to the pumpkin patch a while back and my boys had fun looking through all the different squash. I told them they could each pick one to take home. My older son picked this one. All of the adults were laughing so hard but trying not to show it. He said he thought the shape was funny and he liked how bumpy it was.”

Leave The Stain, Cover My Name - Family Portrait

Leave The Stain, Cover My Name

“Back in 4th grade, I was too young to know how to do laundry. Here we are at a family outing taking. Mother had dressed me in my nice stained shirt with my name on it. But for some reason, we don’t want anyone to know who I am, so let’s cover up my name and leave the stain. Gonna have to check all my old pics now and see how many my clothes are stained. No wonder I never got any dates.”
