“This is a photo of my family from 1968 when we went to Puerto Rico. That’s my mom and dad and older brother and sister. My brother and father look fresh wearing their matching shirts although my dad had to outdo his son by wearing the hat. My sister was going through her rebellious years and refused to wear anything sleeveless even though it was never below 90 degrees. My brother is so cool in those sunglasses. I am the young girl in front. I think I may have escaped the awkwardness only because I was only 5. My mother is trying to pretend that this is all very natural looking.”

Glad you think this is hilarious, so do we! It’s a classic family photo that is WAY more awkward than so many of the other pictures we’ve seen. Somehow we all managed to turn out fairly “unawkward”!
