“This is my son Jeff and our double stroller on our way into see Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. We were actually caravaning from Montana to Mississippi with our van and our truck which was towing another vehicle. We didn’t want to drive both, or should I say all three, vehicles into the park so we all crammed into the minivan. Jeff only had to sit like this for about 20 minutes and he did have his DVD player. Even still he wasn’t too thrilled.”

Irish Spring

September 29th, 2010

“This is me and my parents on vacation in Boston. I was 17 at the time and we were traveling with some family friends in my Irish dance troupe. It was really hot that day, as evidenced by my snazzy overall-shorts. My dad HATES having his picture taken, and we’d been taking photos all afternoon, so that was his best attempt at a smile. My mom, on the other hand, just wasn’t ready. I’m not entirely sure why I look so dismayed – maybe I somehow knew this picture wasn’t going to turn out so well.”
