LMAO!!!!! Get real people. Have any of you ever heard of the term “stuffing the ballot box”? This is nothing more than a clicking contest, and if you happen to have a friend who is savvy at programing you don’t even have to physically click the button. I could really care less who won this time, but don’t insult our intelligence by pretending this was an accurate way to determine a contest winner. Eventually someone is going to submit a picture of a rock and then keep multiple voting until it wins one of these contest. Then the rest of you might care how these things are run.

Hello??? Family vacation at Sea World? Young girl with men in speedos?? LOOK AT IT! It’s pretty flippin awkward! I think it’s hilarious and I’ve been voting for it everyday! Why would anyone rig voting? That’s just lame. I mean really… If you don’t like it, don’t look at it and move on. Don’t go chasing waterfalls.
Look at her outfit, glasses, awkward pose, and the close proximity. That is truly awkward.
I was the manager of the men’s swim team as a high schooler, and it took me quite awile to get used to all those bananahammocks in such close proximity.
And I wonder why several of us defending Lauren have never had our comments approved, while a nasty accusation of cheating is let thru. Trying to gin up interest in your site?
There are many, many pictures on this site that are only 1 or 2 people. A nerdy 12 year old forced into close proximity with several near naked guys, with her mom watching, is awkward. Especially back then, before girls were reaching puberty at 12. This lady has asked all her facebook friends to vote, plus we have all shared it with our friends, and you can vote as many times as you want.
Rigged? It’s called having many family and friends voting at once (including myself). You are allowed to vote as many times as you want. As for your comment about awkward, I was 12 years old and an awkward, geeky girl not even going through puberty, next to a bunch of men and their junk in spandex. It felt weird to me.
As for your question about “family”- AFP obviously thought my submission was okay, as they chose it as the top twenty. But thank you for your inquiry.
Ps- Did you see the main page? It was a picture of a girl all by herself, a “Glamour Shot”- I don’t think there is a family in that picture, either?

Gosh, I can’t stand when ppl post negative comments. If you don’t like the pic, don’t vote for it, and move on!!! If you have nothing positive to post, don’t post anything. This is a site that is SUPOSSED to make you happy. What a downer!!!
It’s totally awkward! I loved it from the beginning. A girl at kind of a gawky age, big glasses, posing with Australians in banana hammocks? “Nigel” no less? And her mom arranged it? To me it’s awkward gold.
I would have done the same thing to my daughters. I did, in fact, at the ren faire. There’s a trio of acrobats and they walk around on stilts between stage shows. I rushed up to one and made the girls stand next to him. “MOM! Stop!”
I totally would have done this to my kid.

The photo becomes all the more awkward because her family abandoned her to take the photo alone with the speedo-clad swim team.
Her father probably wouldn’t be caught dead that close to any banana hammocks. I imagine he’s snickering somewhere, off to the side, scanning the crowd for bikini-clad, coconut flavored sunworshippers. Mom, of course is waving the camera around, prompting her to “Get the photo with that hottie, Nigel!”
I get the “Awkward” part, I guess, but…..where’s the “Family”? It’s weird that this pic is even in competition. The votes make sense though, anyone can hit the button as many times as they’d like.

I don’t get what is so awkward about taking a picture with the swim team. That is what they wear. Maybe if they were naked. And 40,000 votes? Strange!!!
I think it might be more the look on her face in with the men in bathingsuits that makes it awkward. This is my favorite, I have voted everyday for it!!!

This is my favorite. The best part is that your mom coaxed you over to those swift strokers – and “Nigil,” no less. Fathers live vicariously through their sons’ achievements in sports. Mothers must live vicariously through their daughters’ proximities to hunks in matching Speedos.

If I was that age, posing with any kind of Australian swim team would have made me swoon! Although having Speedos and my mom in the same general area would have been very awkward.
