Is this the Allie MacKay that used to be on Fox 13 in Salt Lake? If it is, we miss you out here! If not, I’m sure you’re fantastic too.

  8. Smartazz says:

Good thing they paid the extra $ 2.50 to upgrade to the “Real Looking” Chicken costume !!!
or this Easter Egg hunt would have went really bad !!!

“It goes in the basket, yesss it doesss …”

  12. Mr. Manpants says:

It is helpful in therapy to be able to pinpoint the exact moment of the trauma. And, there it is. Most parents don’t have the presents of mind to take a picture of it.

  13. sadmanh says:

personally i also would have been scared of thay yellow furry thing !!! Lol

  14. Bad Bird says:

Sorry for scaring you, Allie. My handlers unexpectedly sent me to that party after a hard night of drinking, so I sort of showed up bringing my B game. I wasn’t at my best. Please accept my sincerest apologies. It wasn’t my fault.

    Sincerely,
    Bad Bird

  15. nu2rickman says:

The bird is clearly kidnapping the child….

  16. Lee says:

Hmmm .. giant furry yellow thing with large mouth and crazy eyes … nothing scary about that.

  17. elisabeth says:

OMG This pic just made my life!!! O_O X-D HAHAHA

  18. Smartazz says:

This is the only gig, one of the imitation Foster Farms Chicken could get…business is bad :(

  19. traydw83 says:

I think this baby is crying because the bird gave her a huge wedgie, look how high her pants are up her legs…probably painful.

  20. JerseyPam says:

Before the child abuse watchdogs come on board, please note she’s not being thrown in the air, not ducktaped to a window, and not being fed by dad while he’s playing video games. She’s not dressed like a dork, not posing with mom in a rubber dress, and doesn’t have a mullet. She’s just crying. She’s being held very gently by an ugly smelly looking Yeti Bird, with what looks like chewing tobacco in its beak. That’s all.

    • Allison says:

Oh thank you, I’m hysterical laughing! From one Jersey chick to another…I love the use of Yeti Bird! I used to work at a golf course and we had a member who decided to change his shirt in the Pro Shop, and I didn’t look away fast enough, nor did my supervisor…the member looked like a Yeti with his hairiness!

HAHA!!! thanks for making me laugh till it hurts! :-)

  21. thatgirllmay says:

This is great! I love Allie MacKay!!

  22. coNNie says:

    BIRD is the WORD.

    • Allison says:

      Precisely what I was thinking…aside from…THOSE EYES!!!

What the HELL is that….*thing*?! Poor Allie, I’m traumatized just seeing this photo…and she lived it!

  23. CarrieM says:

Mr. Birdie will put you down quickly if you kick backwards real hard with your right foot.

  24. Alliemackay says:

Oh Rick…ye of little faith. The creators of this site held the original in their hand.
It is unbelievable that I was once cute….but this picture is 100 % real. This is how we rolled in 1976.

  25. Marty says:

That is one scary looking bird. I would be crying too if he was as close to me as he is to this poor baby! It also looks like the costume is about 15 sizes too big for the person in it. WOW

  26. Cori says:

THE BIRDS (3)…Revenge of the UGLY CHICKEN…

  27. Rick D says:

Somewhere out there smolders a photoshop conspiracy theorist who is convinced that this picture is faked.

  28. Some chick says:

Oh God oh God, what the hell is that thing?! Babies are terrified of good-looking professional costumes, so lord know what she’s thinking of this hairy, gaping, lazy-eyed monstrosity.

  29. You mean she decided not to become a feathery. This could actually be an incentive to become a furry, because some mammals eat birds. :-P

  30. ScoutC says:

I had the same reaction as the little girl when I saw that thing. Is it supposed to be Big Bird? CTW should sue for mutilation of a beloved muppet character or something.

  31. Alliemackay says:

My dreams have been realized. I AM ON THIS SITE! YES! Thank you so much to the creators of this page for sharing your genius this morning with the KTLA viewers.
I’m shocked I didn’t become a vegetarian after this mess.

  32. Tallyho! says:

    …What IS that holding her?

    • Amanda S says:

Exactly what I was thinking… Pretty sure I’d make the same face now at the age of 23 if that thing came at me, much less tried to hug me.

  33. mary says:

big bird’s retarded cousin came to visit sesame street and scared all the kids!

  34. Campbell says:

Holy crap that’s a scary bird!

  35. Tim S says:

OK, I see an Easter egg basket and field hockey sticks. My guess is their going to make the toddlers run through the fields to catch the eggs on the fly!

  36. I Need To Know says:

Poor little girl probably grew up to teach self-defense classes at the police academy.
