From Afar

December 13th, 2010

“In spite of the many concessions we make to our 3 year old son (notice the trash truck tree topper I made at his request), a nice group picture was beyond his capacity to endure. Eh, at least he’s in it.”

Nativity Scene

December 13th, 2010

“This was taken christmas season 1981 and sent out as family christmas cards to all of my parents’ families and friends. On left is my 4 year old brother, as Joseph. On right is my 7 year old sister as Mary. In the middle is me, a very blonde 5 month old baby girl as jesus. I have no idea what inspired my father to do this, or why my mother went along with it.”

Baby, It’s Cold Inside

December 13th, 2010

“I am in the background snooping around the presents. My father asked my Mum (center) to pose with his sister (my aunt in blue).
They never liked each other too much and the body language shows it.”
