Over It

“I was not born when this picture was taken, but I have to say my oldest sister looks possessed and my other sister looks as sassy as ever. And mom, stop with the fake smile.”

Holiday Pick

December 19th, 2012

Yes, I’m the nose-picker. My dad is very defensive over this photo:”Everyone has to realize that it was probably the 10th take, using a timer on a camera that took forever, leaving you wondering if something was wrong with the camera by the time it finally went off… plus, it was all on film so you did not see the results for at least 3 weeks. And it was STILL probably the best of the lot!”

Pouty Face

December 18th, 2012

“My daughter loves the idea of Santa pictures, but hates the reality. After sobbing for twenty minutes, the photographer threw a blanket over me (all ghost like), plopped my pinked-cheeked-toddler on my lap, and Santa snuck in behind her. I’m not even sure she realizes he’s there. It’s the saddest face I’ve ever seen her make, my heart breaks every time I see it!”
