Gone Fishin’
“When we first came to America, we often went fishing in Wisconsin on vacation. About this time, my brother and I (I’m the one with no shirt on) had chicken pox, so my mother covered our rash with diluted Brilliant Green dye (sold as an antiseptic in Russia). That’s why we’re covered in green spots. As to the fish…well, I don’t think he was having a very good day either.”
Are We There Yet?
“Family Vacation, 1987 Redlodge, MT. Dad was packing the car, items falling out of the contraption fixed to the roof. My brother, facing out the window did not want his picture taken. He was crying, because he wanted to get out of the car.”
Synchronized Planking
“My family planking by the pool side, while on vacation at Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Summer 2011.”
Chocolaholics
“On a trip to Hershey PA circa 1976, that’s me on the right in the lovely orange ensemble, with my brother, sister, & dad. I think this one pretty much speaks for itself.”
Poncho Power
“We were visiting Williamsburg and it started to rain. Only my wife was smart enough to have an umbrella. We ducked into a stor and bought everyone a poncho for $1.00 each. They lasted about 10 minutes. Every time you moved your arm they tore.I love the pointy head on them.”
