Flower Girl Gone Bad - Behind The Awkwardness

“This was my uncle’s wedding back in 1980. I had agreed to be the flower girl and did a perfect run through in rehearsal. What I didn’t expect was the doors to the ceremony opening and 500 people all standing and turning to look at me. Check out my epic pout. I REFUSED to stroll down the aisle. My sweet grandma is the one leaning over telling me to sneak through a side aisle and sit with my grandpa. The mother of the bride is behind me, probably ready to strangle me.”

Joe’s Crab Shack - Prom

“My Dad decided that taking family pictures before my Junior Prom was the perfect moment to wear his new Joe’s Crab Shack shirt. None of us even noticed until the pictures had already been taken and uploaded to everything social media outlet available. Thanks, Pops!”

Wife’s Message On Husband’s Wedding Ring

Wife’s Message On Husband’s Wedding Ring - Couples

When Dan and Amanda were married five years ago, Dan was surprised to find an engraving on the inside of his wedding band. “She’s a prankster. She’s got a great sense of humor,” Dan told ABC News of his wife. “Some people are commenting that she must be insecure or something, but it’s quite the opposite. People tell us we have the best marriage they’ve ever seen.’

‘When the rings came in, I tried it on and noticed [the engraving] when I took it off,” he told The Huffington Post. “I just laughed along with everyone else in the store.”

Baseball Picture Day

Baseball Picture Day - Kids

“It rained on our scheduled Pony League baseball photo day, but rather than reschedule photos for a more suitable day, the photographer decided to power forward and move things indoors … or more specifically, set up the shots in the messy, drab, completely inappropriate pavilion next to the field. So instead of home plate, there’s now a dirty crumpled up paper towel at my feet. A picnic table doubles as the catcher, and the only thing the concrete wall in the background is stopping is my shadow. Due to a lack of space (or concern on the photgrapher’s part), 4 1/2 players from my team are shown patiently waiting their turn. Hopefully I still sold the batting stance with a steely look of determination in my eyes to distract from the photo’s numerous shortcomings. None of this even takes into account my era-appropriate mesh cap, messy (non-cleat) sneakers, unhinged stirrups over my socks, and crumpled hiked-up pants. It was the perfect storm of awkward youth sports photography.”
