Tales Of A Fourth Grader

“My 4th Grade school picture.  This was the last year of my life that I remember being blissfully ignorant of what others thought of my appearance and it shows.  Even my own mother calls this my “Only a mother would love” picture.  Soon after this my parents got me contacts, presumably out of pity.”

Run For Your Life

“When people tell me ‘I wish I had as many siblings as you,’ I show them this picture. I’m Dave, the kid running in this photo. Thought you’d like more info: I’m one of 6 kids. We are from Maryland. The 3 kids in the background are Max, Cara, and Phil. This photo was taken around 1989 or so. Scenes like this were pretty common growing up.”

Dad Bod

“This is my father in about 1973 in the Central Wisconsin vacation town called Waupaca. We recently found it in the attic when down-sizing my mother’s home. Yes, he is wearing shorts, but I don’t know why he chose to wear the hat with all that pasty white flesh bared to the elements. The picture is complete with the Frisbee in one hand and the can of Old Milwaukee in the other. Though Dad has been gone for many years now, his sense of “Every-dadness” lives on in this priceless photo.”
