“This is a photo of me (front left), my little brother (front right), my older sister and her older boyfriend taken in her bedroom sometime in summer 1984. I know the era because of the Van Halen posters on the wall and the RUSH pins on my shirt. I don’t remember why we posed for this picture- and I REALLY don’t know why my little brother and I look like we’re modeling for young punk magazine! It’s a strange little scene there. The Van Halen posters really crack me up.”

The Bird Is The Word
“This is a photo of myself, my older brother, and our Grandpa, and our two parakeets, Snowy and Max. We drove from Cincinnati to Seattle in 1997, with the parakeets in the backseat with us for 6 days. We stopped in Iowa, in a McDonald’s parking lot to visit with our grandparents before hitting the road again.”

“Big brother had about enough of dealing with the seven week old baby. Normally he hams it up for the camera, but dealing with his crying brother (and having to share the spotlight) pushed him over the edge. Out of all the pictures taken that day, this is the set I chose to hang in my living room.”

“My sister is a huge lover of pets. She thought this would make a great Christmas card to send out to family and friends.
