The only thing that makes any type of sense in this photo is the little girl is wearing a jean jacket and bandana around the neck while sitting on a saddle. The rest is just weird. The dog looks like he is doing something he shouldn’t — or about to — and cursing the stupid humans that decided this was a cute thing to do. Could they not put the bird somewhere else, like the saddlehorn? Poor girl doesn’t really feel comfortable, either.
This is just too weird for ALL of them. The look on that girls face says “You have GOT to be kidding me,” the bird’s half-asleep, and maybe it’s just that dark patch by his mouth, but that dog looks like it’s preparing to growl at whoever’s off-camera trying to hold his attention.
While this little girl looks a little shy or nervous, it’s a cute picture of a cute girl, cute dog and a bird. Not a big bird fan–I can sympathize with her and would feel the same way if someone plopped a budgie on my head.
