Here at AFP we try to avoid politics, but whatever your political leanings, enjoy this uncomfortable interview.

So…How do you like this music behind us? Well, I like music of almost any kind, including this one. CLASSIC
Remember: Mitt Romney believes with all his heart that he will become a god with his own planet.
Let’s just hope it’s not this one.
I love the “If I could vote, you’d be one of the top choices.”
Exactly what I was thinking! “ONE OF…” HAHAHAHA!
The only thing awkward is how much of a robot Mitt was and still is. Some things never change.
Did anyone else hear the kid introduce him as “Mick Romney”? He then either went on to say “Mitch Romney” or “Mister Romney” but I really don’t think he knew his name!
A little awkward on the kid’s part, lol. Go Mitt 2012!
Ron Paul 2012*
Judging from these comments I must be the only Republican who likes AFP.
Your not .. but what a strange thing for you to say. American exceptionalism?
It actually wasn’t the 80s. It was 1994, I think, I worked on Kennedy’s campaign. If you want to see awkward, check out the debate where Mitt Romney said something to the effect of the Kennedy family never sacrificed anything for their country. Even Kennedy’s staffers felt bad for him.
It’s funny that Romney would say “the Kennedy family never sacrificed anything for their country” because the Romney family hasn’t either. Neither Mitt nor any of his sons served in the military.
Two members of the Kennedy family made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. JFK RFK
Also, their older brother Joseph died in a plane crash during WWII.
“sorry I can’t vote.” Nice.
I didn’t think the kid was that awkward, for a teen. Romney, though, came off like a political robot, all smiles and textbook-perfect yet meaningless answers. (I’m apolitical, but I think it was obvious, so I hope no one minds me saying it.)
I thought it was cute in an awkward way. Thanks.
(And no, I’m not a Republican or a Mormon. It’s still cute.)
Did any one else notice that he said “country of Massachusetts?”
He said “country AND Massachusetts.”
There’s already a website for awkward video clips. It’s called youtube.
Are you the kid interviewing Romney, or his dad?
I sort of like the idea of awkwardfamilyvideos.com
Here here!
double here here… !
Or “hear hear!” if we’re being correct about it.
This reminds me of a character on the IFC channel’s “Onion News Network.”
Why was the interview “uncomfortable”? Didn’t seem to me.
P.S. I hope this site is not going to branch out into video clips.
I agree with you. If awkwardfamilyphotos.com wants to branch into video clips, why not create a new website for that?
The only awkward thing I noticed was the 1980′s clothing and hairstyles.
Awesomely Awkward!! Has the kid interviewed Herman Cain in the past?
