Size Doesn’t Matter
My question is, who posted the photo and what did the poster think was awkward? I think this was a nice idea that came out a bit odd in the presentation…the camera “took away ten years”, making the subjects look young young young even if they aren’t, dad’s appears to be giving mom a hoy-hoy pat on the fanny, and the “topless parents” theme that was so popular a few years ago (much like the heads-in-a-wineglass trick of the ’80s) never really worked out…it always looked like a peeping tom photographer caught the parents in a private moment.
Taking pot shots at the family themselves is just tacky…they’re clearly happy and clearly a solid couple, so why make wisecracks about that?
This is a beautiful portrait! I don’t see any awkwardness with this picture. The hand on the booty doesn’t bother me. It’s not like he was cupping her buttock or anything. This is actually the first topless & pregnant photo I’ve seen that I think was done tastefully. To me they don’t look too young (I’m 32 and people still mistake me of a teenager).
