Awkward Pose of the Week: The Lean

Warning: this fan favorite isn’t for the conservative family. This is a pose for the clan with sass, one that wants to convey, “Heads up!” “Coming at ya!, “In your face!” “Take a closer look,” and of course, “You rang?” Combine with two arm-fold-book-ends and you’ve got yourselves an album scorcher.

The Dad must be adopted, he has no looks.
The son looks like Hayden Christensen in Shattered Glass.
Mom and daughter look the same tho I give the daughter the nod in looks.
Maybe they all have back problems and this was the most comfortable pose.
Didn’t know they took group realtor photos. Guess this is proof they do.

I like this picture – I think it looks interesting, they’re all smiling and actually look happy, not photo-faking the smiles, and I can’t see anything awkward about it. If my photographs came out half so well when I took a group shot, I’d be happy.
Could the Mom and Daughter’s mouths BE more alike?

I actually like this one. They all look really happy and fun. The photographer just took it from a bad angle.
Maybe they’re not leaning at all. Maybe the photographer is very tall. Think about that for a while.

this pic was definately taken from above (no lean necessary), you can tell from the way the son is standing…still hilarious though!!!
Sorry to educate but this isn’t a lean, this is merely a picture shot from a camera that is above and the camera is not shooting directly down. I know how y’all love the leans!

I saw those people before. That is not a Photograph. They were standing in the front yard of their house when google took pictures for Google Earth..I saw them in a fly over

This isn’t a very bad one actually. It looks fun. I don’t know if I’d do it, but it’s the least awkward one I’ve seen so far.

This is a great photo. Fun, creative, well posed, everyone looks good and looks happy.
I don’t think they’re actually leaning. It looks like maybe the photographer was just very high up when he took the photo…but either way, it looks like awkward leaning.
If they weren’t smiling so much, it would probably look a lot more awkward. Their big smiles almost say “we’re so kooky we can make awkward poses work”
Having a crappy morning, found this site on one of the blogs I follow and I’m crying from laughing so hard. The pictures are funny enough on their own, but you add your little comments underneath. It’s too much to handle. I suggest this site when people are in a bad mood. Keep it up.
They are not leaning over. Photographer is on a ladder. We do that when we want to look down at someone’s low cut shirt! ; )
