The kid in the front looks like the guy who played Spock in the recent Star Trek movie.

  5. Dooby says:

The best one on here….AWESOME photo.

  6. CrabOfDoom says:

Tom Cruise IS Dustin Hoffman AS Ted Koppel in “the Young Marv Albert Chronicles” — with special guest Macauley Culkin as Philip Seymour Hoffman in his daring portrayal of Roy Orbison as a blond Stephen Hawking.

  7. Kade says:

This makes me giggle everytime I see it!!!

The faux books back round add a certain fuax pas.

my friend has the same wallpaper at her mom’s house. Love it.

  14. Hucklebuck says:

We had our engagement picture taken with the same background…and I had on the same glasses as the swinger.

  15. Sugarpants says:

who the heck is Neal Snow?????

  16. lisa-lurkey says:

Dean Martin & Michael Caine in happier times.

  17. Blucat says:

My brother took almost the exact same photo in the early 80′s. Let me guess, this is Olan Mills, isn’t it? HA! It is Olan Mills, I knew it before I even looked at it closely. They were the purveyors of some seriously awkward photos for generations.

  18. rosko says:

“Hey baby, what’s your sign?” :)

  19. pants says:

I believe that’s Eli Cash in the back and Richie Tenenbaum in the front, or perhaps his brother Chas, the sons of Royal and Etheline Tenenbaum.

  20. frizzle says:

I wish my Olan Mills family pictures turned out this funny.

  21. Commenter says:

Hey I didn’t see your comment. Great minds, eh?

  22. Commenter says:

They are extras in the awkward new Wes Anderson film.

  23. agatheringstorm says:

These two were originally cast for “The Royal Tenenbaums” backstory scenes with Chas and Richie, and this is a promo still from the set. No kidding.

  24. dangermouse says:

if you ask me, the kid in the back looks like a young Adam Savage (Mythbusters)

  25. Mr Obvious says:

You do know that’s actually Coach K in the foreground, right?

  26. Jerry Collins says:

    It’s like a Donald Trump/Robert Evans hybrid.

  27. Lucy says:

Austin Powers – the early years – Groovy baby, YEAH!!!!!!

  28. Bob Loblaw says:

That’s little Donald Trump (before lasik). “Your Fired!”

  29. lil ass grabber says:

That kid in the back…you know his voice sounds like Stewie Griffin.

And you know he’s saying “you. your ass. me..7pm. BE THERE.”

  30. Chris says:

That kid looks like a mini version of Trump.

  31. steph says:

“I sat there, thinking hard about my future…. until a felt strange presence, precedent by a golden warmth, entering the room. From that moment, I knew everything would be okay, because I had my little bespectacled golden angel to back me up.”

  32. Digger says:

Sour grapes about “ripping this off” from another site. Nobody has control over what somebody sends in and nobody has a copyright on posting funny pics on the web. I checked out the SP site and it’s fun but hardly laugh-out loud funny like AFP. To each his own.

  33. LilyBear says:

“Smashing Baby. Smashing.” Said using an Austin Powers accent.

  34. Ray says:

    “Is that a clip-on?”

The blonde in the back is the other kid’s agent.

  35. Andy says:

That is the coolest kid ever. Please tell me this picture is public domain so I can use it for a business card :)

    Or some event flyers :D

    • Neal Snow says:

No, it’s not public domain. Knowing my dad, he probably still has the Olan Mills receipt from 1981. Dad could never let himself get rid of anything.

  36. Tim says:

It was rare, but whenever Dustin Hoffman and Elton John got together, you know it spelled fun!

  37. chipmunk! says:

Good to see he has his attorney with him.

  38. Sam says:

    How You Doin?

  39. grimey says:

Ted Koppel and Hugh Hefner…the early years

  40. owenlift says:

    The name’s Bond. Jimmy Bond.

  41. cat says:

everyone gets pissed off on the internet, because it’s serious business.
come on people. I found this blog first and now from it, i found sexy-people and i love them both. the internet is for the lols and no one seems to grasp that. it’s not like any of this is original content anyways.

    • dog says:

I totally agree with you, why fight? We´ve got laughs for everyone! And the many commentators who make it extra funny? Should they demand credit (or $, hey!) also? I give all the credit to people around the globe and their crazy posing ideas.

    • case says:

      sorry…. alot of it is original… so…

  42. D says:

    Where’s Mrs. Robinson?

  43. Brian says:

    Austin Powers. Yeah Baby!!!!

  44. Jennifer says:

Works 60% of the time… every time

  45. Booger says:

    It’s Alex P. Keaton…

  46. Neal Snow says:

I appreciate this picture of myself (the blonde) and my brother being posted here without any credit given to where it was taken from. If you must take pictures from other photo sites, at least have the courtesy to give them credit instead of lamely crediting it to “anonymous”.

  47. Lindsey says:

Home Alone the prequel circa 1975.

PS Why do some people get their granny panties in a bunch when they think that some of the photos don’t qualify as “awkward?” Did it make you laugh? Was is slightly odd or abnormal…then laugh and get over what the definition of awkward is. It’s called branching out. But anyway…back to the laughs

    • Ty says:

“granny panties” LOL!!! The definition of awkward, if it´s real or photoshopped, where it came from, original or copy, OMG!

If people know or own similar sites please share with us, I would LOVE to check them out, no need to preach! I like to come here for the captions and mostly for the comments, which by the way people do for FREE and for LAUGHS. Like you said, Lindsey: anyway… back to the laughs!

  48. chachi says:

Love the website, and the pictures.

Shame you’ve pretty much stolen the idea and a number of the pictures from another website though.

Ahh well, stealing is flattery isn’t it?
    It certainly isn’t sexy though.

  49. Muskrat Ranch says:

    Christopher Walken comes to mind.

  50. lagrange says:

Willie: “thank you ladies and gentlemen, you’ve been a terrific audience. Now I will drink a glass of water while Danny sings!”
