In Hiding - Wedding

“This is a wedding picture the very expensive professional photographer took for us at our wedding 7 years ago in France. What was he thinking? I love the mischevious look on my husband Cédric’s face, and the way it looks like he’s grabbing my butt or pulling up my dress.”

This is kind of cute-but then again I’m kinda lame myself. I like it!

  2. muri says:

i saw a couple taking wedding photos the other day, and the photographer had them do a pose just like this one, rock wall and everything. it was even more akward in action.

  3. Dara says:

Hi Siobhan, A very funny shot … Where taken ? You seem to be holding the wall for dear life, appearing oblivious to what’s happening behind 🙂

  4. jenn says:

    thought I recognized this one!
    hi sam!

    AWesome looks and very beautiful

  6. Susan says:

She’s being forced to wed and as she tries to escape, the groom catches her. She hangs onto the wall as he tries to pull her back to the altar.

  7. lynne says:

Does anyone know where this was taken? It looks strangely like my hometown!

  8. catcall says:

She’s hanging by her fingertips and he’s riding her train. Hope it’s not a sign of things to come!

    (It is a cute pic)

  9. Hairball says:

Wouldn’t her satin gloves get all snagged by that wall??

  10. Danny Boy says:

my God get a room !

  11. Pilgrim says:

Ok, hold still, I’ve almost got it….

  12. GBird says:

    Bride: Hooray! I’ve escaped!
    Groom: Peekaboo!
Bride: *Fixes smile to face* Oh hello Darling, I was just coming…

  13. Liam McDonald says:

I thought you were supposed to carry your bride over the threshold, not push her off a mountain

  14. 180|360 says:

I love it! Their big smiles make it even funnier.

  15. angela says:

You can run, but you just can’t hide…

  16. Lacie says:

You cant see the grooms hands and he has this look on his face like hes up to something. Ahahahaha!

  17. El Kev says:

It looks like it’s missing that random dude in the tree from the other day.

Is that taken in Wales? It looks like Conwy.

Maybe they’re hiding from the assassin carrying a certain type of bow.

  18. EyeSpy says:

Why does her left hand look like she’s wearing a latex glove? O_o

  19. Jason says:

Someone has to explain the “hiding around the corner” pose. I don’t get it. “Now you Tracy pretend like you are peeking around the corner, John you stay close behind”

  20. lololola says:

    groom looks like an afterthought.

  21. JoMama says:

It looks like the picture has been flipped, like they are actually laying down, but the pic is turned on its side. If not, why are they in those weird positions? If they wanted to scenery in the background, why not just stand there and smile? Why lean against the wall? Too many questions, my head hurts…

  22. Stacey says:

Looks like she is holding on for dear life, while he is doing something inappropriate under her dress

  23. Tim says:

    BRIDE: ” I don’t WANNA jump!!”

  24. grimey says:

The king will not be happy when he finds out about this!

  25. Marco in Cali says:

Is he digging for a compound bow?

  26. Laura says:

Hands up where we can see them please.

  27. uhhh..whups says:

This reminds me of “Pssst.” It also looks like they’re holding up the wall.

  28. TinTX says:

pssssst……. couples hide-n-seek should now be an official category!

  29. Silk says:

James Bond weddings…..where you go to foreign lands and get married despite people trying to kill you.

  30. frodo says:

i see a hint of pain in her eyes… which scares me.

  31. Denise says:

They’re doing the awkward hunchback of notre dame pose.

  32. Señor_Citizen says:

Had they’d known beforehand that they’d have to climb 12,000 feet to get to the reception, they probably would’ve eloped.

  33. Dirk says:

It looks like he is trying to pick her up and take her away but she is resisting by hanging on to the wall. I wonder if this is what they or the photographer were trying to pose?

  34. Cassie says:

    Um…a show of hands please?

  35. Patkerash says:

He’s looking for her inconspicous nuptials

  37. gat says:

Nothing says “I’m getting married” like that updo . . . . most awkward thing in the photo.

    • Fietsbelle says:

My thoughts exactly…dang!!! Why must those updos be?

    • blucat says:

I was just thinking that exact same thing. It’s hideous. I just got engaged and I refuse to have the same clunky up-do as every other bride on the planet.

  38. Joanne says:

They must know the couple that was hiding behind the red brick building in their engagement photo!

  39. bryan says:

i cant help but wonder… what his hands are doing

  40. Nate says:

    Two words….HAND CHECK!!!

  41. Nate says:

    Two words…… HAND CHECK!!

  42. Amice says:

“Hey Rocky; wanna see me pull a rabbit out of this dress?”

  43. Stellabella says:

They are adorable! The pose is awkward because you can’t see his hands or arms and they look like they are lost in her dress somewhere.

    • Kae says:

I think you’ve really hit the key of the awkwardness – what ARE his hands doing under all that white fluff!!? Perhaps he’s starting the honeymoon a bit prematurely…

  44. Amy says:

There’s always a few poses that the wedding photographer loves to do, and they usually end up something like this…

  45. Ashley says:

Maybe if she didn’t have that top hand up on the … wall? chimney? thing? … it wouldn’t be quite such an awkward pose. I do agree that this one really isn’t too bad, haha

  46. Meg says:

Her pose is a bit awkward, but this is definitely not as cringe-worthy as most everything else on this site. They both look happy, at least!

  47. Vickie says:

Did they have the same photographer as the last “chimney couple” ??

  48. Maria says:

This is actually a cute photo, imo. Maybe I’m looking through a filter of my own awkwardness.

  49. Mary says:

She didn’t know that rock climbing in her wedding gown was part of the honeymoon.
