Spreading the Awkwardness
This is kind of cute-but then again I’m kinda lame myself. I like it!
i saw a couple taking wedding photos the other day, and the photographer had them do a pose just like this one, rock wall and everything. it was even more akward in action.

It looks like the picture has been flipped, like they are actually laying down, but the pic is turned on its side. If not, why are they in those weird positions? If they wanted to scenery in the background, why not just stand there and smile? Why lean against the wall? Too many questions, my head hurts…

I was just thinking that exact same thing. It’s hideous. I just got engaged and I refuse to have the same clunky up-do as every other bride on the planet.
They must know the couple that was hiding behind the red brick building in their engagement photo!

They are adorable! The pose is awkward because you can’t see his hands or arms and they look like they are lost in her dress somewhere.
I think you’ve really hit the key of the awkwardness – what ARE his hands doing under all that white fluff!!? Perhaps he’s starting the honeymoon a bit prematurely…
There’s always a few poses that the wedding photographer loves to do, and they usually end up something like this…
Maybe if she didn’t have that top hand up on the … wall? chimney? thing? … it wouldn’t be quite such an awkward pose. I do agree that this one really isn’t too bad, haha
Her pose is a bit awkward, but this is definitely not as cringe-worthy as most everything else on this site. They both look happy, at least!
