I know this is late, but that’s in my town! They’ve since moved the license bureau to the first floor and the mental health department is in a separate place. Yes, that is a metal grate of some sort. Incidentally, it was standing right there that I saw my ex and his new wife… it makes me lol to think of it.
This was taken in Ohio.
And…..
At least they can visit both bureaus on the same floor.
They knew they wanted to get married close to their honeymoon destination.

It’s the old courthouse in Duval County, Florida, where my wife and I got our marriage certificate.
It’s not around anymore. They build a new courthouse about four years ago.

When we got the license for our ill-fated marriage, the Wedding Licenses and Gun Licenses were applied for in the same office. Apropos.

I think thispicture was taken at the courthouse in Toledo OH. I’m dying to know. I was a witness to friends who got married there and I remember that sign. I wonder if most courthouses do that.
