Even Jacques Cousteau would agree this holiday card has a certain je ne sais quoi.

What — are the fish offended by the word “Christmas?”

  2. catherine says:

    Helmet diving! I love it!

  3. bluenosedwowser says:

We all live in a yellow submarine….

The family that sits in a fishtank together, stays together. If they didn’t, their oxygen hoses would pop off and they’d drown, which would provide a truly awkward picture.

  4. Cloud says:

Hey, look!,to the left! It’s Bill Murray!

  5. Sophia says:

I think that’s an awesome family photo. Knuckleheads.

I love your blog. It makes me happy every day.

  6. Megan says:

I actually like this photo; it’s very original. Although their heads look like they are stuck in old-fashioned gas lanterns.

  7. Denise says:

Those tricksters! They almost got me! They’re actually behind one of those wooden stand-up thingies with holes to put your head through.

  8. TREEMAN says:

    …under the sea – there´s always ROCKnROLL…

  9. heather says:

I appreciate their helmets AND their political correctness.

  10. Señor_Citizen says:

Say…this isn’t that “inside the shark” family, isit?

  11. Jeff Metal UK says:

In the future, after global warming kicks in and the ice caps melt this will be judged to be a relatively normal family photo… and there’s not a compound harpoon in sight !

  12. joaniebaloney83 says:

This picture looks a little fishy to me. Maybe they did it just for the halibut.

  13. Paul Kierstead says:

    That is kinda cool, actually.

  14. Fleabitten says:

Something fishy is definately going on here.

  15. letsroll says:

What’s the porpoise of this picture?

  16. J says:

They are not really there in the water. But, boy, it ure does look REAL!

  17. Mrie says:

I think what really helps to tie the whole thing together is the coordinated belts they’re wearing. Imagine how catty we’d've been if they’d clashed!

  18. Tim says:

Willie and the rest of the Nelson family wated to do something different for this year’s christmas card…

  19. Thighmaster says:

    Are they all on TV?

  20. heather says:

Wait………..are they really not in the water???????

  21. Karenyo says:

The coneheads have nothing on this family!

  22. IAmNoOne says:

This is the best Jimmy Buffet concert ever.

  23. Simon says:

He’d agree that’s it’s got a certain Je ne sais pourquoi

  24. kiki says:

    Mele Kalikimaka!

  25. Susan says:

I made a comment earlier about a plastic reindeer but it disappeared. The comment. Not the reindeer.

  26. Joanne says:

I think this is a terrific picture! I’d much rather get this for a Christmas card than one with the freaky Santa peeking through the window!

  27. Heino says:

    Happy Holidays from Team Zissou!

  28. Rondi says:

This picture needs a yard gnome.

  29. EmmaKate says:

I think those are divers that are getting paid to have a family’s individual portraits glued to the front of their helmet cage things

  30. Ellz says:

This reminds me of the first time I went underwater target shooting with my new crossbow speargun. Fun!

  31. Susan says:

I think they really are under water. The complexions of the hands match the complexions of the heads.

  32. Rachel says:

This is really cute, not awkward….except the arm .that has 2 hands just above the fish fin

    • nasus says:

not awkward? Futurama people underwater holding a “Happy Holidays” sign is not awkward to you? I’d love to look through your family album ;)

  33. kat says:

you can clearly see that they are not in water if you look behind you can see the tank

  34. eeyore19 says:

This family has that certain je ne sais quoi, but I don’t know what it is.

  35. MST says:

There’s something fishy about the photographer. I think he’s a Pisces, probably working for scale.
    (Hats off to Nick Danger)

  36. letsroll says:

I think that is “The Worlds Most Interesting Man” on the left.

  37. Oscar says:

Falco will descend in the diving saucer, but alas, he does not find the Atlantans to be as attractive as he had imagined during those lonely nights after card games on the Calypso.

  38. Sassy McSasserton says:

Since when can you buy scuba gear in landscaping lighting section at Home Depot?

  39. lagrange says:

You’re gonna need a bigger boat

  40. Judge_Knot says:

As I look at this px, I’m starting to have difficulty breathing.

  41. marj says:

This is actually real – its harley’s helmets in bermuda. the company has been around for decades

  42. Nicole says:

Like marj said, this picture is definitely real! It’s Hartley’s Helmet Diving or Hartley’s Underwater Walk, it has different names lol. If you’re ever in Bermuda, definitely do it! You don’t need to know how to swim or anything, it’s fantastic :)
