Oh good Lord, It’s Marney. She clearly didn’t approve of how the rest of the family wanted to do the family picture. She sent them a memo of photo pose instructions months in advance (CLEARLY spelling out that everyone would sit with butts on the fourth row and BOTH feet on the third row with NO serving spoons). Looks like the Misto family ruined yet another family gathering.
LMAO!!! *SNORT*… Grandma wasn’t wearing regulation size shoes! and speaking of which, where would I find the printed out law of regulation size mashed potato bowls for the next Marney gathering?
Looks to me like she wasn’t in the family. Kind of like when a news crew goes into an area where there are a bunch of kids and they are in the back ground making funny faces….She just wanted to get in the picture.
Or she was sitting there already and the kneeshelf crew came along and disturbed her peaceful moment by kneeshelfing in front of her.
Grandma is sitting like that because -it shows she IS the grandma! And THEY are the g’children. If she had GGreatchilden, I bet they’d be on the benches 2 down from the rest.
That’s what I think.
Gradma never was big on “foolishness” but,now she’s 87 and can’t hear anymore. It was easier to crop the picture than stand in a state park yelling at the poor old lady.Everybody loves her dearly though.
Most likely not related to the family and was going to get cropped out of the family portrait. Even with the lady cropped out, there is still something very odd about the pose for the family.

They’re all too old to be Amy – she must be the photographer.
Best comment!
What you don’t realise is that in fact Grandma is refusing to allow them to sit with her, rather than the other way around.
nope, they would not allow her to sit close because her hip surgery made it too hard to get her leg onto her other knee!! she is off pouting!!
She looks like she is about to say “Where’s the Beef” (some of you younguns might not remember that commercial)
THE #1 commercial for Generation Xers!
#1 commercial of all time!
You’re showing your age. For that matter, so am I
Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes, you don’t! Even if your related to them.

I’m not so sure. Why is the camera pointing slightly in her direction, as opposed to completely front-on towards the group?
Note to photographer – learn to zoom in.
Ok, everyone that works at Blue Ridge Assembly wants to know…what family is this?!?!
Grandma was told that after this photo was taken, that they had to get one of her on the bench with the clown.
My grandmother was an outlaw too !
If she’s anything like MY granny, she didn’t want to participate because she didn’t comb her hair, wear her bra, has on old pants etc.
OMG you made me laugh so hard!
laugh and the world laughs with you>
other bodily noises and you stand alone
As they say in church: “Sit in your own pew.”
LOL…I was thinking the same thing.

Aw poor Gramma…
But I don’t blame her for not wanting to be in that picture, lol

oh man, you just can’t make these things up. Well, you can try but it wouldn’t turn out as good as the real thing
Priceless.
Granny’s legs are too short for a kneeshelf
“What’s that gramma, can’t cross your legs anymore? Well you’re out of the picture!!”
Where was this picture taken? Because it looks exactly like a Boy Scout camp I used to go to summer camp at, Camp Schoelkopf. Outside Buffalo, NY.
I seriously doubt that she is even related to them and when they ask her to move she responded I can’t! now piss off!

This gathering has “Church Retreat” written all over it.
That is tooooooooooo funny. The knee shelf is da bomb.
Maybe nobody was really there….that they could see.
Epic Leg-crossing convention
citta scout reservation?
This should be another “Rebel” post.
A non-conformist!
A white haired wizardly lone wolf!
A saint!
A ninja, firmly putting both feet down!
God bless her.
…hahahaha.
I was going to say, “Grandma’s a rebel! You go, Grandma!”
this is the funniest thing i’ve seen in such a long time!! HAHHAHAHAH
She’s not dead yet, but they keep treating her that way.
Grandma: “Hurry up and take the picture. I’m missing “The Hollywood Squares!”
Shouldn’t it be kneeshelves?
Grandma tried to slide in behind them but ended up getting a splinter in her behind forcing her to sit this one out.
Somebody made a mess in their diaper
Where is this? Does the person who submitted know? This sounds strange but… It looks really familiar
“Sorry Gramma, your tribe has spoken.”
