Clearly recycled gifts.
Hey look, 5 boxes
Hey, is this the same family from the Strawberros picture?
Divorce alternative– just give the family away.
If you love something set it free, If it comes back then wrap it up in a silly gift box costume and give it to anyone that will take it.
Sponge Bob Square present
haha!!
The moment I knew that I was a true dork… when I looked at this photo and thought “That is a great idea, we should use it this year” Seriously I love this!
You know, I get tired of the same old nicely-dressed-family-artfully-arranged-in-front-of-the-tree Christmas photo too, but there has got to be a better way, people!
Aww it could be awkward but they are just so damn happy it’s adorable. They are a great looking family
This has Clark Griswold written all over it.
All that wasted giftwrap… Must have been a sale.
awesome. there are no other words, totoally awesome.
or even totally awesome…
The santa hats have Mickey ears…
OK, I don’t get it.
Where are Dads hands?
With the economy the way it is… This may be all we can afford this year.
Perhaps? …. My shopping is done! Thanks for the great idea.
haha i dressed up as a present one year for halloween. Sadly i didnt wear the fancy dress costume
ah i meant to say fancy dress competition. My mind is in the gutter :/

Now, I like the head tilts the best! Check out the kids and the women (moms?) The women have got their heads to the right and the kids to the left.
Now that’s art!
I too thought there were two wives in this picture, but if you look closely, the two women look remarkably alike. The younger one looks too old to be the daughter, so I’m thinking she’s the other woman’s sister.
on another note, I’m asking myself I ask with a lot of these photos: WHY???
Mom talked her sister into it.
First thing I though of was RE-GIFT!!!
Hey, the twins (I’m guessing?) are ADORABLE. I’d take them over any Christmas gift I’ve ever received!
Why do these kids look nothing like….any of their possible parents?
so these people gift themselves so that they can become the giftee’s new responsibility and be fed for free… desperate times call for awkward measures. hope it works out
Defective…need more arms and hands…
This is great! What a Halloween Idea!! WOO! Thanks guys!
this is similar to my nephews costume last halloween. a wrapped present, with a tag on it that said “TO: Women FROM: God” hence, god’s gift to women. it was so cute. LOL
Thanks, but I really wanted a bike for Christmas…
Hey moderator! What’s up with you??
Holiday houseguests. The gift that keeps on giving.
I hope they kept the receipts.
Didn’t we get the same gift’s last year???
The gifts that keep on giving
Love the Mickey Mouse ear/Santa hats on the boys. Nice awkward touch. They all look reasonably happy doing it. I wish there were a surly adolescent out. That would have made it perfection!
We need to get the calculators out again and figure out why this one has two moms…
it doesnt add up , does it?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Um, which one is the mother?
You can just tell this was Dad’s idea.
This is the kind of thing I would do to my kids, and I’m a mom. I think it makes an awesome Christmas card. Kudos to the young-looking mom.
I wanted a family for Christmas…but this one’s defective!
Look! Two of them have MOUSE ears.
I suppose I can donate them to charity instead….
no comment…
HAHAHAHA this has to be one of my favorite pictures ever! Look how happy they are…
I think it’s kind of cute and creative. Attractive family too.
I love this one too. If one or more of them looked forced it would be awkward. To me its more cheesy-sweet. Glad someone submitted it, cause its adorable!
it’s my family…this is what we do…i’m the daughter on the right side, my mom’s on the left…and then of course my lil bro and sis at the bottom.
Love isn’t love till you give it away!
Clever.
…cheaper than adoption
Where can these be returned?
~Dan
To your local Wal-Mart, of course! After Christmas, they’ll return ANYTHING!
Dang – he looks just like the Strawbreros Dad. Wonder if he has different summer and winter families?
this is the tigger/pooh dad 20 years later
Here’s what I need to know…how did they get into these contraptions? There must have been an unseen wrapper. It doesn’t look like the neck openings are big enough to accomodate the elaborate hair ornaments. (not saying compound bow, not saying compound bow) and the boxes too wide for them to reach their own heads.
The box has the bottom cut out of it. The cut a hole for the head, and two for the arms, then wrapped it. The just stuck the arms and head through and tada! We get this lovely photo! ;]
Well, someone took the picture, right? So, probably this someone could helpt with the wrapping, too ;o)
1) Cut a hole in a box
2) Put your family in that box
3) Make people open that box
…And that’s the way you do it…
Best comment – ROTFL!
So much win. Yes, Andi. Yes.
you officially WIN!
LMAO Andi!
I’m crying. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Nicely done.
WIN WIN WIN!
LOL, thanks.
End scene right here, nice job!
This looks like a scene right out of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation !
my thoughts exactly! he looks like clark griswald. though it should be moose antlers instead of mickey ears.
Is it me or is there 2 wives in this picture?
I was thinking the same thing!
Which one is the wife?????
gooooood call, i just noticed that.
I think the man is the father of all the children in the picture–two daughters from first marriage and the children in the front are from his second marriage.
The father has his box on backwards.
It must have seemed like a good idea at the time!
Are those Mickey Mouse ears on the guys…?
i thought they looked like matador hats!
Surprisingly, none of them look unwanted, regardless of the fact that the family was giving them away.
