OMG I had to look this one up, thank goodness you explain them for us….I get The Onion part…so many layers to a family…enjoying my page a day calender.

i think this is the photographers way of being “unique”
As a former professional photographer, I have declared that at least ONE person will claim that EVERY PHOTO EVER TAKEN HAS BEEN PHOTOSHOPPED. With beautiful lighting and composition, of course. I also am from the moon and have twelve kitten-children and am the president of Zimbabwe.
Love the dad in the background, comforting the baby who didn’t make the cut to sit with Grandpa. “It’s okay, Mariah. In this family, we all get our fifteen minutes, then we have to move on.”
I thought it was the Howard Dean family photo.
This is hilarious and such a fun picture. Im going with Adoption here, cuz nothing else works in my head…

I love how Mom is enjoying the experience instead of stressing out, as she waits for each couple gets its’ kid(s) settled down before the “official” shot. The caption is hilarious, too.

Couple 3 chjldren with mate= 3 grandkids
it looks like no one in the picture had a clue their picture was being taken.
It’s like they were told to all look different directions and 2 of them picked the same spot!
Beautiful family, I bet they either foster or adopt kids. I think it is a lot better pic than some that you see where everyone is stiff and miserable looking. This was probably a goof shot, everyone moved just as the photographer was snaping the picture; I’m glad that the family decided to keep it. If it was my family, I would have this one hanging front and center.

I’ve been saying it for a while, but never before has my sentiment been more true – the photo captions ROCK!! This is by FAR the absolute best picture caption yet!!!
I think what happened is the photog finally just gave up trying to get the toddlers to look at the camera, said “screw it” and told everyone to gander hither-thither-and-yon. Friggin’ hysterical!

I spent some time studying this image and it is really quite beautiful and an accomplished photo. each individual is perfectly lit.

best photo and caption in a long time. those who claim this is photoshopped need to get a life. is that your answer to everything – photoshop? it doesn’t even make sense for this pic, nothing was made to look perfect, funny or incredible. it just turned out funny… naturally.
