What better way to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary than by preserving their love forever in cardboard?

So… who else thinks they’ll have cutouts at their funerals?
Reminds me of the picture my grandma had in Washington DC with “Ronald and Nancy Reagan”…they too were made of cardboard!
Are you sure this isnt’ like a funeral….
well atleast they didnt cancel …. LOL
Not cardboard. Rigor mortis.
Were they THAT indisposed that they couldn’t take time to take a photo with the kiddies?
Wait – I thought paper (cardboard) was for the first anniversary. Shouldn’t these two be cast in gold?
They couldn’t appear here tonight as they were busy, “getting busy”, so they sent this cardboard cutout of themselves for our enjoyment.
No one could figure out why Grandma and Grandpa weren’t as chatty as usual at the family reunion.
the mom of this brood is obviously hiding behind the cardboard cutout! and also, this was wwaaaayyy before digital photoshopping! lol!
“Weekend at Bernie’s” but without the big budget…..
The taxidermist couldn’t have mom and dad done in time. But this is almost as good!
Grandma and Grandpa died a couple of years ago. We got them a cardboard cutout and they never noticed the difference…
“Dear Family,
Seasons Greetings! As you can see, we are all doing wonderful in sunny California. Everyone is alive and well. And we included a picture to prove it. There’s Suzie, Mary, and Grandma and Grandpa and myself. Happy as ever. Healthy, alive, breathing… and definitely NOT cardboard. Well Happy New Year! Will write again next year! Everything is fine. That’s for sure. No need to ask questions.
Love,
All five of us.
Uh hello everyone, the shadows, the angles, it’s so obvious,
PHOTOSHOPPED!!!
Those g-parents are so not really there
Well, that’s because grandma and grandpa can’t stand there all damn day while everyone gets a picture taken with them. Hard on the knees and feet, you know.
Poor little girl on the right looks like she didn’t want to stand next to giant paper doll grandparents. She was seriously creeped out.
“Daddie, why are Grammie and Grampa so thin?”
After the photo shoot, grandpa started hitting everyone with his Rex Harrison hat.
this is pretty awesome.
How big was this anniversary bash that this couple knew in advance that they would not have time to pose with everyone who wanted a picture with them?
I’m sorry, this defies explanation! Were they too busy to pose for pictures? Is this actually their wake & time for just one last shot with gramma & grampa? This is like those celebrity cutouts at liquor stores…
Awkward is that the younger girl obviously wanted to wear her big sister’s other Lily Pulitzer dress. That’s gonna be even more awkward than Standie Grandparents when they use that pic for the slideshow on her 21st!
Lily Pulitzer, seriously???? Those are soooooo homemade.
Those dresses are obviously photo-shopped. Har de har har.
I’m going to get a cardboard me and send copies nationwide!
I was listening to this radio show one time and they would take these cardboard cutouts and place them in front of peoples doors and ring the door bell and run off and watch their reactions. hehehe FUNNY
Even though the elderly couple had recently been involved in a horrific steamroller accident, they were determined that the anniversary party would go ahead as planned…
LOL this makes me think of that ending scene in the first Naked Gun movie.
Just laughed out loud perfect comment for this picture
that is exactly what i was thinking-are u a mind reader?! 0.0 lol
haahahahahaaa…I just snorted!
