Size Doesn’t Matter

Each person in this picture is special in there owen werid way. I too must go change my pants
That picture totally sums up the 80′s!
I like polo shirt – he is very handsome.
At first I was like “Why is that guy wearing a half shirt?” then I laughed out loud when I saw the eye patch.
When Dad tried telling Junior he had to wear a real shirt to Sis’s grad ceremony, Junior hauled off on him. Grandma decided the neighbors would be less likely to ask questions if Dad wore a patch over his shiner.
I’m envious I would have loved a mosh pit at my graduation too
I would marry the polo shirt guy but still party with Corona boy in his van!
Ditto! Polo Shirt Brother will treat you like gold and never break a vow but Corona Brother will take you to the worst bar in town for the best night of your life. CONUNDRUM! I love them both…
Thoroughly confused by the 1st date mentioned. Now I see. BUT – - – are these people RELATED ????
Nice! All you need is apple pie and ice cream.♥
Allright, this is my family. The older brother and sister are not in the picture. On the left, polo boy still dresses the same, ‘Fabio’ now shaves his head and framed his prized ‘Corona’ shirt, Dad retired the patch as he can see out of both eyes now, daughter Jen is still beautiful (darker hair now), I retired my striped outfit and Grandma is not a ‘ghost’, she is our angel. So there… Quite making fun of us. Oh well, we did make you laugh. The year was 1991.
Corona boy was HOT, I had a boyfriend just like him.
Carol, you have a beautiful family! It DID make us laugh — but because we see ourselves in this picture! I graduated in 1991 as well, and let me tell you, Fabio would have been the boy I had my eye on… though, maybe that would have been in 1986 with all that hair, but whatever! He was the height of cool.
If we are all being honest here, we all have crazy family photos. Our pic is a doozy. Not sure I would be brave enough to post it online lol. But when I need a laugh, I just bring it out
!
Is the Jennifer Aniston?!
And, is that her sister with the Corona top? She’s hot!
I’m sure Corona Guy celebrated this graduation by throwing rocks around the parking lot in his 83 Trans AM… to the sweet sounds of Van Halen.
THAT made me laugh. Corona guy and Van Halen blaring from the speakers of (the as of yet huge woofer-less) ’83 Trans Am was the height of hot in 1986. My brother aspired to be that man.
Meanwhile, Captain Ron was enjoying some much needed shore leave at his brothers graduation.
Nice of him to dress for the occasion.
Corona boy has got to be the boyfriend – look how Mom & Dad are hanging on to their precious daughter, as if to say “you’ll never get her!”
And is granny freakin’ anybody else out? I think we have the first photo proof of ghosts here!
Nope, that’s a brother, because dad, the other guy on the left and Corona dude all have the same jawline and the graduate and Corona dude, share a similiar chin! But grandma is definetely a ghost! lol
OMG….Too funny, Greg–HOT as always, Stevie, WOW.. I remember that long hair & cropped top, Jen, Fabulous hair style–we all had it, Mike, so thin…looks like a glare not a patch, Carol, looking fabulous in stylish stripes LOL…, G’ma, yes she is the Angel, miss her! She’s washed out, all decked in white, huh? And my old Jeff…..hmmmm….let me guess, he’s still on his way there?? Jeff! HA HA!
The 80′s hair band rocker kills me. I can’t even see cause i have been laughing so hard.
wow, do these people even belong in the same photo? Oh look, Mom is holding onto her daughter for dear life. That one is not getting out of her sight.
Okay, now who’s bright idea was it to make the hairy man where a belly shirt?
Anybody else thinking what I’m thinking? Yeah, it was the ‘Corona shirt guy’ that punched him.
Suzie’s graduation’s today? Sweet, I’ll put on my best tank top for the occasion!
Corona dude must have punched out dad.
You see now this is what happens when you run with scissors in your hand…
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
Dad probably got that eye injury when the graduates tossed their hats into the air to celebrate! It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye! Thanks for bringing us back to reality dad!
Ma-ma-ma my Corona
OMG, I do not know what is funnier, the posts here or some of the stuff my coworkers come up with.
oh this made me laugh. first i was so impressed with kid rock attending, and then i saw dad’s giant eye patch and i cant stop laughing. but you know, even tho i laugh, i think, “hey they all DID make it to the graduation.” so they are a better family than mine.
Hory Crap. I think the guy on the left is my chemistry teacher!
He’s actually pretty hot.
I am pretty sure the graduate was my sophomore English teacher, Mrs. Klett.
That eye patch is just so he won’t have to see Corona mid-riff man.
That’s Corona shirt was what granny with the tinted shades was originally going to wear.
You know, it was all fun until dad’s eye got poked out.
Ooooh, too funny!!! lol.
This is a graduation picture from Freemont High School, home of the Freemont Fightin’ Fabios. All of the families get to take their picture with the school mascot at commencement to help them remember the good ol’ days. Their commencement speaker was Kurtwood Smith, who played the dad Red on that 70′s show who was nice enough to pose with them while preparing for his new role in the remake of The Pirate Movie.
Don, your narrative is some of the best comedy writing I’ve heard in a long time. Just a question…didn’t the Freemont Fightin’ Fabios take state in Bodybuilding and Hair Design that year?
That’s awesome!!
That’s the best thing I have read all day! Fight on, Fabio.
They had the state champion bronzing team.
okay, so this picture is the most awkward on the whole site and you just made it even better. thank you, thank you so much. now i must go change my pants.
you are brilliant.
The only thing that would make this better for me is if the bodybuilder/slash/hairband boy in the Corona belly shirt was also wearing the eye patch.
oh, that made me spit tea.
That would have been perfect! Made me laugh out loud.
that would be awesome!! rofl
Truly breathtaking. So was Corona a more manly type of beer back in the 80s? I feel like this might be the equivalent of a Bartles and Jaymes T-shirt. The stuff is delicious, but don’t ask, don’t tell.
Corona shirt man is the most beautiful man in the cosmos
INDEED ♥
Umm…folks, is it me, or does Corona Man look like he’s wearing women’s cut jeans? Maybe the Corona crop top isn’t meant to be a muscle shirt? I’m just sayin’
It’s kind of frightening how much this reminds me of my family…
The 80′s…*shakes head*
I had this as my desktop picture for a while.
Great one.
lol!!!
I think Dad and Bryan got in a tussle over Bryan’s choice of a belly shirt for the occasion.
Mom always told him “You’ll shoot your eye out!” But this wasn’t his fault this time. It’s still under investigation. They believe it was an accident, but aren’t sure if it happen when grandma was out hunting critters or if it was the neighbor clan. Something about a pink Barbie Compound Bow?…
LOLOLOLOL
hahahahah…ohh man thats good stuff right there…
Wow! there are so many things one could say. Fabio is hilarious.
Fabio prior to his famous roller coaster ride…..
fabio ? how ’bout eye patch dad !! ? hahahahaha
