Ha Ha Ha.
I bet whoever took the photograph got into a whole lot of trouble when the (human) couple realised what else was in the photo.
With this photo I have a vision of a loving son or daughter behind the camera taking the photo and laughing to themselves.
loving daughter.
But I wasn’t laughing until later. I truly did not notice this when I was taking it!
Really funny!
Looks like photoshopped though!
only in the sense of the “enhance” or “color sharpen”
MEEEEeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeEEEEE….Me and Mrs….. Me and Mrs. Eyore!
“Love is in the air……”
I think there’s something awkward about the man’s hand…
I noticed that too…
Awkward? It could have been the result of a war injury, an accident in the workshop, or even a birth defect. That’s not awkward. That’s unfortunate. But on a happier note, the photo is still Flippin’ hilarious!
It looks like a secret bird.
That was the first thing I noticed about the photo and couldn’t figure out WHAT the bird had to do with pinning the tail…
And then my eyes scanned the entire picture. Asses.
Oh that is too funny!
its like one of those pictures where you have to de-focus your eyes, then, BAM its all right there!
So from a lighting designers perspective I love how the lighter trees just draw you attention to the cows. . .its perfect!
OMG! LOL! What I want to know is how the camera guy missed the donkeys?!?!?!
I love how they are framed in the reflection. Oh. My.
Oh lookie at the couple in the rear making “a**es” of themselves.
There are SOOO many a** jokes for this one…but I know NONE of them are getting past the censors!!
Smart A@@
Um, how are the donkys/cows reflected in the water? They are really far away. Seems contrived.
They’re not super far away. Water reflection catches height, not distance. They’re high enough off the ground to still be reflected in the water. Due to the distance, their shape is slightly distorted, though it’s difficult to make out with all the other reflections in the water and the dock blocking part of the reflection leading up to this.
What’s the photographer’s number? I want a pic like this!
Are they cows or donkeys?
Actually – if you look at the scale of the fencing and the lenght of the animals legs, the bottom animal apears to be a minature horse. The top animal is not as easily discerned, but the legth of body and shortness of legs could make it another minature horse or a pig. I would need to work on enlarging the photo and enhancing to get a better idea. The fencing is the standard metal stake and wire that usually reaches 36 to 44 inches in height. That would make for a really small donkey…
no but seriously; please give us your full, unbridled assessment.
LOL! I LOVE you people!!
Yeah, the guy does look like he knows what’s up… Ahem.
I can just imagine when they got the photo back. “Oh what a nice picture of the two of … OMG!”
I was about to ask why this was awkward. But then I saw it. Bravo.
This proves that ‘subtle awkward’ is just as awesome as ‘extreme awkward’ (such as the naked people with the cats. It’s sad because they are so close to being NOT awkward…so close, but there’s no escaping the awkward fate.
Agree, hehehe
Those are not cows, they are Donkeys
I get it now! At first, I thought they were wearing white after Labor Day.
LOL! Good one, Stuart!
That’s hillarious! Wonder when this was noticed by the loving couple?
This is PHOTO-BURRO…
OMG – This just proves – you can’t stand in the way of true love!
very good comment!
I LOLLED SO HARD!!! I AM STILL LOLLING!
Ahhhh, the wonders on nature.
I didn’t catch it right off…..wait for it……wait for it….BAM! There it is!
Oh dear. One word – cropping.
It looks like he and the photographer knew what was going on.
I agree. There is a rather “knowing” glint in his eyes.
Maybe so. The guy does have a weird “knowing” smile on his face. This one is just too funny!
I agree, the guy knows what the donkeys are up to….
He honestly had no clue.
It took me a minute, but this is hilarious.
FIRST!!!
And this is hilarious. Thank god for this website.
speechless
OMG…. I was just typing out how I didn’t see anything awkward at all about this pic, and had the page scrolled down a bit to type in the comment box (basically, cutting off the people’s heads), THEN I glanced up and noticed it… Wow, what timing for that shot!
At first I was going to ask the “What’s so awkward about…” question. THEN, I saw the animals. This pic could go in a new catagory: Find the hidden Awkwardness.
More like foreground foreplay! (or background foreplay? doesn’t sound as good though, lol)
NICE!!!
OMG! The dogs in the back ground are priceless! Did this couple ever notice?
What’s even better, they are reflected in the pond! A 2fer!
I don’t think they’re dogs – I think it’s a pair of donkeys based on the title of the post.
Wow are you people blind, or have you never seen what a donkey, cow, or dog looks like?
They are obviously donkeys considering the profile of the one on the left.
Take a breather, Polly. Not all of us are able to identify humping donkeys that are terribly out of focus.
Classic! Haha!
it took me a minute…. LOL love is in the air!
HAH! Romantic, isn’t it!?
It took me forever to figure this one out! Ha ha!
Nice couple, beautiful scenery, I thought — what’s awkward about this pic?
Oh.
OH DEAR.
Great caption.
I absolutely don’t get what’s funny or absurd or anything about this beyond boring.
really?!? you missed the humping donkeys in the background and reflected in the lake?
Heehaw!
Please look off to the right of the couple in the background & then in the reflecting pond.
Look at the small animals on the right……
First! Maybe…
Oh My………that’s priceless……they had no idea =)
photographer sure has a keen eye haha
There’s even a reflection of the loving couple in the water…ah, Spring is in the air.
Aww precious memories.
It took me forever to figure out the awkward bit! It’s like a twisted Where’s Waldo!!
Took me a minute to figure out what the deal was with this pic…Soo Soo Funny….
are those cows in the background getting busy?? lol wowwwww
They are donkeys, hence the large ears on the female. Please put your specs on.
uhhh. awkward HOW?
Take a gander at the field in the back.
It’s safe to say you didn’t look beyond the two folks standing in the front.
You’re not looking at the right “family”…
I love the cows getting it on behind them lol toooo funny
They aren’t Cows… hence the title, “Pin the Tail”.. as in.. “on the Donkey”….
Donkeys
They certainly look like they’re enjoying themselves.
The people do too!
Toushay, Mel!
