What’s all the sympathy for the girl? Middle child syndrome my aunt Harriot ! She’s a brat. She is probably still a brat. I was the youngest in my family. Can you tell I still have some issues????!!!!
It is all in the nature of family karma and balance, a little chaos feeds the forces of order, and a little fist full of hair to plug the ears with.
That’s why the little boy in “The Space Between” photo sat so far away.
anyone see ‘the bad seed’?? i bet this girl plays a mean ‘claire de lune’…
What is funny is the look on the girls face and positioning. It is like, I am not really grabbing my brothers hair. I am the little angel girl.
I’m going to be laughing for days.
Females … so physically aggressive …
It’s as if the older brother is saying, “I tried to warn you about what she was like, man!”
For some reason this made me laugh till I almost peed
Good comment Steph! I love when people reference Marney!
this could just be my cousin!
This is something worth keeping for. She has an attitude. How cute!
This is EXACTLY the kind of picture that makes this site so awkwardly awesome.
Just your typical arranged marriage….
Wow. That little girl could be my twin–in personality as well as appearance. If I had any brothers, I’m sure that there would be a picture exactly like this in my parents’ family album.
“Hold still for the picture, little brother. See, Mommy, I’m the good one!”
This little girl is the H*IC! I love it.
She’s just trying to be helpful by pulling him into the proper position (between her and her older brother). heeheehee.
To me it looks like the little dude is trying to bust out a positively righteous dance solo and his sister just got jealous. Can’t blame her. He’s totally stealing the spotlight.
I can very much see my daughter doing this as she gets older…except to her older brother lol
watch me pull a rabbit out of…………..oh drat……….its billy………..
That trick never works.
hahaha! you guys are a comedy tag-team.
I love the expression on the older boys face! “Seriously??”
Come on…how can she be blamed for this because she’s “only a girl” ?
It’s a young Marney doling out her brand of punishment for little brother daring to wear a red vest with small, white buttons when she could not have been more clear, or serious, that he was only to wear black, regulation size buttons!
Awesome!!! Long live Marney and her regulations! HAHA
The older brother is like WTH are you doing? She is like ‘who me?’ with a fistfull of lil bro’s hair!!!! poor kid!
The middle child and the only girl…she’s learned how to take care of herself!
“Who says only guys can be televangelists?” little Julie asked. When Pastor Bill stepped of the stage to get some water she saw her chance. Cathedral Temple would never be the same.
As the youngest child in a large family, all I can say it the purpose of older siblings is to toughen you up and make sure you have hand-me-downs. Proof positive here.
I think the older kid is holding his hands out saying, “It wasn’t me!”
OMGosh, the title of that got me laughing, “Ignore me doing this.” HA HA HA Good one.
The Bad Seed.
She’s not smiling, she’s actually clenching her teeth to show the effort she’s putting at pulling the small boy’s hair… OUCH!!!
Could she be trying to keep him from sitting/falling down?
LOL…you’re too generous! You don’t have siblings, do you?
That is so funny!!! We have a christmas picture of me pinching my little brothers back because he wouldn’t smile! brings back good memories LOL
I think I will have to find it and submit it!! But then again, I have already submitted better LOL
Come on…you know we’ve all wanted to do this to a sibling
=
Makes me wish I had a little brother…
LOL! The first thing I thought of was the little girl in the movie “The Bad Seed”. LOL! My brother always had a crew cut, never could pull his hair. Darn it!
I love that the older brother is making sure that his hands are no where near his younger brother so that he can’t get blamed.
funny observation!
I’m just checking if he’s wearing a wig!
this pic so reminds me of my 3 kids….except my oldest is a girl….but this is exactly the way they act!!
Mine too! I guess this is a typical occurance…most of these comments relate to this pic!
Best AFP EVER!
She was probably just trying to hold the bratty kid’s head steady for the picture. LOL my older kids tend to pull on their little brother’s earlobe so he can stay still. HA!
Exactly – she is trying to hold his head forward for the camera to make Mom and Dad happy. The bratty toddler was already pitching the fit backwards toward big brother. No one ever understands the benevolent judgment and even hand of the honorable middle child except for another middle child…
So true. This is exactly what I thought (and I’m a middle child). Everyone said she’d pulling his hair! I thought no, he was throwing a fit and the mom asked her to keep him still and that’s what she did. That’s what the older brother has an “What’d you expect” look on his face.
This might be my favorite AFP ever!
Haha, glad to know I’m not the only one who has a photo like that. I bet I’m not the only person who’ll say that, either!
big brother says to little brother if you would just be still and smile like mom says sister will stop hurting you, I have told you this 100 times . . .
EXACTLY! I was going to write that but now I don’t need to!
Aww, poor little guy. But, as is always the case, the day eventually came when he caught up to her in size and could defend himself, and then BOY HOWDY she didn’t mess with him again!
Is it just me or does the oldest kid look like his head is way to big for his body?
I was thinking the same thing! He looks like a giant compared to the little guy.
Must be photoshopped. Hehehe. J/K
It’s photoshopped!! Hahahahahaha!
Someone had to be the first to say it.
now, THIS would be a good time for the “pee-pants” tool in Photoshop
kids head are out of proportion…
She looks so pleased with herself. And the big brother is looking down at the little one as if to say “What the hell are you screaming for?”
I agree! I wonder if that little guy is a bit of a trouble maker for his older siblings? I’m sure that they’re all best friends now.
I actually lol’ed when I read that! If you look at his hands, they’re out in the ‘What?’ position. I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with this caption LM*O
I think he is saying, “What the heck do you expect me to do about it? I’m probably next!”
that’s what cracked me. He’s got his hands out as if to say, “If you would just hold still and look at the camera all ready, she wouldn’t have to do this.”
hahaha – reminds me of me! I’ve got one of me slapping my little brother in the face. Gotta love the old days before digital cameras.
She makes me think of Angelica Pickles.
You’re absolutely right. She even looks a little like her
good call!
ahh, the joys of being a middle child.
Just what I was thinking, middle kid syndrome, I reconize the symptoms as I suffer from if myself.
As I do. that kid could’ve been me.
LOL She looks like my niece!
Today, the kid is president of the hair club for men.
Hahahaha
