10 Days To Xmas: Bah Humbug

It’s going to take a lot of egg nog to get this gentleman in the Christmas spirit.

He’s smiling with his eyes.
Or as Tyra Banks would say, “Smeyesing [sic].”
Christmas spirits? Oh, I wish I had a good Charles Dickens joke!
Awww…look at the happy couple. Not everyday will you find a guy who will not only dress in the same color as his girl for their Christmas portrait, but wear the same hairstyle too.
haha!
wow, same haircut
I like how they both have the same hairstyle!
This could be titled, “How the Grimace Stole Christmas”!
I think the photographer was messing with the camera for too long, and he was JUST about to say “Will you take the damn picture already?!” *click!*
How can he be sad with a SUPER SPARKLY TREE?! Seriously. Look at that thing.
That’s a tree? I thought it was a spiderweb from space.
It’s so ugly!
Whoever decorated that tree in the back was a little heavy-handed with the tinsel, don’t you think?
Was this taken through a peephole?
My husband looked over my shoulder at this pic and remarked that it would probably take giving him back his glasses to get the gentleman in the spirit. I concur; we’re both pretty nearsighted and are very familiar with that characteristic “glasses off for the photo” squint. It’s not just vanity, by the way. When you are photographed with glasses on you either have to tilt them on your nose at a really funky angle or contend with glare on the print afterward.
Ah, young love. I think they’re just darling.
“I smell somethin’. Was that the photographer?”
This photo is just SCREAMING late 70s. The hair, the blue tree, the tinsel, the orange cast to the photo… I agree with the person who mentioned the “glasses off” squint.. That poor guy was probably just trying to see what the photographer was doing!
Mmmm, I dunno about the 1970s. It looks like it could be Today in Ohio.
“It looks like it could be Today in Ohio.” – that was epic. hahahahaha
That tree is the most awkward thing in the photo. I mean, the lady is cute, the guy is a bit serious, but that tree is the bluest, tinseliest, cheesiest tree I have ever seen!
This has to be from the Roseanne Christmas Special. The resemblance is haunting.
haha… totally agree! that was my initial thought too!
omg… I was just thinking that! This picture screams “Roseanne” for some reason.
had the same thought!
Merry Christmas, The Conners
HELL YES!
Definetly 70’s-I remember those awful orange poorly placed home done Sun-In highlights!
I say, I still think it could be Today in Ohio.
I don’t think it 70s, cos his shirt collar is quite small, not like they used to be in the 70s. It must be early to mid-80s, I think.
Merry F***ing Christmas, now get the hell out of my house, there’s a game on.
This may be my favorite photo…of anything…ever.
“For the love of God, stop dragging me to your sister Marney’s house. Damn.”
LOL! Imagine Marney at Christmas!
I will take this moment to point out that vignettes of all kinds generally look awkward. This is a prime example.
One drink of eggnog for each strand of tinsel just might be enough to turn that frown upside down!
My mistake. That’s definitely not Dibiasi. It’s definitely Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
I looked at that guy and saw a pro wrestler too!
Am I the only one who thinks that while the pose says “couple,” there’s a peculiar sibling resemblance between these two?
I would be grumpy too if I had to clean all that tinsel off the tree after Christmas!!!
I’ll have a bluuuue Christmas tree without you.
They must’ve cancelled the Skynyrd tour.
Definitely Today in Ohio. Trust me, I live here.
Ohio. North Central Ohio specifically. Today. I used to work with him. Sadly I still live in Ohio:(
