I totally was a bag of groceries too!!!! I cried because the other girls were all princesses. And to top it off (literally) my mom found a hat that was a leaf lettuce, and it was a “lettuce head”. Thanks mom.
This reminds me of some of the “winner” costumes my mom came up with for my sister and me… My sister got to be a recycling bin one year, I got to wear a handmade Comet (yes, the house cleaner) costume, and we both were lucky enough to wear mom’s handmade tube of toothpaste costume. Oie…

OMG!! and I thought we were original! We made my costume when I was 10, and I was a bag of groceries as well! though I dare say mine had more thought put into it as I had arm holes
