Kim received her badge for awkwardness shortly after this pic was taken.

Aw, such an ADORABLE little girl!
Such a cute kid! I love her look of excitement
lolololol badge for awkwardness! XD
Aw, I had the same Brownie uniform in the late 80s and early 90s. In retrospect, it’s amazing we ever agreed to wear those orange neckties for girls. If I were a betting girl, I’d say the little girl in this picture probably had just joined the Brownies and mom had just finished sewing her Girl Scouts, region, and troop number patches on the top of the sash and she was trying out the whole “look” for the first time. (Thus, the lack of badges.)
I’ll bet that you are right. I was a brownie too in second and third grade. 🙂 I think she is darling.
You, my friend, ROCK! I found just the info I already searched all over the place and just could not locate it. What a perfect web-site.
This looks freakishly alot like me when I was a child. Is Kim an unknown relative?
And she’s just like that…..even today(?)…
Awww God love ya Kim, you’re a brave and beautiful soul! Here’s to all us geeky girls! ;o)
I think this little girl is absolutely adorable!
I agree with Chloe Willett’s sentiments — this is the most endearing photo I’ve seen on any website in a long, long time. It just makes me smile.
I can’t get over how much I LOVE this photo! It makes me so happy!
Love the uniform! Takes me back in time!
Awwww!! she’s too cute!! all that excitement !!
ahaha very funnyy!
$10 sez she’s grew up to be a really sexy, smart news anchor somewhere! I like to think so, anyway 🙂
That’s a man-sized sash on that little girl!
She is too cool for badges.
Badges, Badges ? I don’t need no stinking Badges !
nice, real nice!
Love it! <3 I, too, had those exact same glasses. What the hell were we thinking? 🙂
