Those kids aren’t even related to the kid in the chair. They belong to the dental assistant, who brought them in to show them “see what happens when you don’t brush?”

What’s that? Some sort of pressure point sleep hold? Never heard or seen that technique. I think they just wanted the baby to sit still for a family photo for once.

This is what my family looks like when my 16 year old falls asleep on the couch. We all get big happy grins. HA HA!

When I look back through the photo albums, it’s the oddball stuff like this that gets talked about, not the posed ‘Sears portrait studio’ stuff.

That man looks an incredible lot like my chemistry teacher, it’s a good looking family though and i’m sure this photo has some reason behind it haha.

I think he is holding him up by his ear..or supporting his head so it doesn’t tip over…my dentist never gives me anything that makes me pass out

Little Bobby wouldn’t settle down for a family photo so Daddy resorted to a little Dental magic…we captured the the exact instant he hit Bobby with the Demerol injection.
My thoughts exactly! This is actually the basement and Daddy had to call in “The Dentist” to take care of a behavior problem!

I’ve seen some pretty strange photos in my time, but seriously, this has to be at the tip top of the list! Who, I mean seriously *who* thought this was a shot worth taking, let alone beamed up at the camera for this shot and actually followed through. I’d really like to know if the only way they could get this kid to cooperate and be in the family photo was to have him all drugged up and still in the dentist’s chair? Sheesh
put some sunglasses on him and you’ll have a weekend at bernie’s.

Probably the dentist’s office. Our dentist growing up used to take pictures of the kids after their cleanings and post them in the lobby.
