Behind The Awkwardness: The Struggling Artist
June 30th, 2010
“Remember those plastic easels that we had as a kid? One day while I was visiting my grandparents, my marker fell underneath mine, and it collapsed on top of me. My “concerned” parents decided to wait a bit to see if I could free myself. Mom is taking the picture, and Dad can barely be seen on the left.”

Like the poet needs the pain…such is true for the artist!….best learn young!
I had that easel, it was light weight as all get out. You’re parents had good reason not to be worried. I could move it around all by myself at 5.
You truly suffered for your art
