They couldn’t understand why theirs went through so many scratch pads.

The caption cracks me up!
I never went but I do remember companies traveling around with baby wild cats like this for photo ops.
Haha, wow, my photo got accepted. Awesome!
It’s me and my sister (I’m the youngest). And it was actually a “petting zoo” type situation inside of a mall, as someone else already said. My aunt actually took us for a photo. I have no idea why, or why anyone thought it was a good idea.
But it is funny. lol
My parents have two pictures of my brother and I as kids with wild animals like this. One with a leopard and the other with a chimpanzee taken on our trip to wild life safari. I’m thinking this was a popular thing in the 80s.
I had a picture taken like this when I was little. It was at a petting zoo they had setup in the middle of a mall. Strange and awkward, but I love the picture and yes showing if off is the fun part!!!!!!
No need for a babysitter
I love the look on the cat’s face, he’s really excited and proud of his catch.
The jaguar ate my babies!
LOL! great reference
Wow. Guess their house IS a zoo.
But mom. . . they both look so delicious. . . . are you sure I can only eat one?
I seriously doubt that’s the “family pet” note the portrait studio backdrop.
That animal’s face has a VERY striking resemblance to Freddy Krueger. Put the hat and sweater on that animal and run for your lives!!!!
OMG! At first I thought this was an ocelot but it really looks like a young jaguar. Not a great house kitty!
Neither is an ocelot. They are WILD animals, people. Just because you can tame it enough to sit still for picture does not mean it makes a good pet.
Don’t you just love how adding “people” to the end of your statement makes you sound even more condescending and preachy?
Soon. Soon. Soon it will be night.
This will be the last time I say this.
Wild animals and children do not mix.
What is wrong with some of you people?
Oh, Thank goodness. We’re getting tired of hearing it. Yes, most of us know wild animal and children are a bad combo, that’s what makes the photo awkward!
Harry are you one of those men who takes the ball inside when the neighborhood children accidentally throw it on your lawn?
HA HA HA thanks Carrie
This site is strictly for fun.
This image was obviously captured over 20 years ago, making your warning late at best and humorless at worst.
What is wrong with you?
Honestly, what child doesn’t want a baby jaguar for a pet?!
eerr….. ummm….. nice ki-ttie?
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a photo of kids with dangerous, undomesticated animals. I guess the parents want a conversation piece and/or an image of daringness, but the main thing they achieve is a temptation to call protective services.
The last picture taken of Pat and Jamie…bad kitty!
