The woman on the left of the picture has hair that looks kind of like mine when I get up in the morning. Some of us just have gifted, gravity defying hair. As you can tell, the ’80s were a great decade for me and my big hair.
I still think it looks better than modern hair, what’s up with that weird swoopy comb-over thing everyone’s wearing right now? We’ll be laughing at that in 20 years too.
It’s funny how “The Look” is all I remember from high school in the 90s. No lessons or sports or anything, just “The Look”. Frizzy perms, amplified an entire head height above the eyes with ozone-killing amounts of hairspray, over layers of clothing designed to hide any visible skin (in my school the college sweatshirt over the turtleneck was de rigeur). Psychologists of the future will marvel at the implications.

the guy on the left kills me LM*AO
That would be a woman. Funny fail!
That’s what I was saying to myself…I went to high school with them …Class of 1984…I don’t understand the 90′s references here…clearly 80′s….
It took a long time for the 80s to reach this far north!
Now come one, every woman between the ages of 40 and 45 has a picture like this from the 80s.
They look awfully familiar….I guess all the children of the 80′s look alike. I would swear I knew these two girls in school, even their mom…
Please tell me where this is from… I think I went to high school with them!!!
Ray,
Me too! Either Davis Junior High or Oak Grove High School in San Jose (Class of 1993)?
They are from Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
I KNEW it !!!

The hairspray left them all a little light-headed.
Yikes, that could have been me in the red shirt circa 1985!!
I was thinking the same thing for me–hair, shirt, lip gloss!
