This is clearly at a Filipino gathering.
    I would know.
    I’m Filipino.
    These things happen sometimes.

That’s what I thought too. My ex-husband is Filipino and while we never enjoyed a moment like this they did make some pretty awesome food!

  3. Patrickster says:

Looks like the caterer and the local orphanage got together and found a unique way of serving desert while at the same time moving some inventory.

  4. Tammy says:

    NOBODY puts ice-cream on BABY

  5. blu_canary says:

This is what happens when you have an open ice cream bar at the wedding. Little kids dropping like flies. They just can’t hold their frozen dairy treats.

Well, take that back. Looks like he’s holding it pretty well for mom.

  6. Snowrider says:

Looks like the triptophan kicked in……..

  7. Katie says:

Looks to me like he drank the bottle, conked, and she plopped him down so she could eat her dessert. And the photog went “is that baby passed out on the table? PHOTO OP!” Cute. Awkward.

  8. Alan says:

Maybe the waitress still hadn’t cleaned the table after the last diners & these people have NO idea who the kid is.

  10. Dibbles says:

He’s a toddler, got tired at the wedding (or whatever other formal party it was), mum had him in her arms, now wants to eat ice cream and placed the sleeping kid on the table.

What’s so hard to see or understand?

  11. Todd says:

In The Philippines, it is customary to serve ice cream while using young children as serving trays.

  12. justme says:

Judging from the bottle I’m saying the little guy conked out while waiting for dessert!

  13. Jane says:

What the heck is going on???

ay nako tita, no matter what the circumstance, just as long as you look fabulous in front of the camera…love it!!!

  19. NVN8V says:

They are a dressed up at a fancy occasion, and look totally normal till you see the head of hair on the table, omg what did they do to their kid? Is that normal? By the looks on their faces I would say yes.

  20. steve says:

An obvious case of ice cream induced narcolepsy.

  21. Jesse says:

What am I looking at here?

  22. Jacobi says:

PLEASE tell me that she had not been changing his diaper on the table just before the ice cream was served!

  23. Ara T. says:

Well, it’s obvious who won the battle for the last dessert on the cart… Better luck next time, Timmy..

  24. .end transmission. says:

Please. Nobody in their right minds serves dessert while the dead baby main course is still on the table.

  25. penny says:

    Is that a nap-kin?

  26. Brian says:

Well, Ice cream doesn’t cure his narcolepsy…

  27. kayjay says:

I love how she is now using the kid as the table.

  28. senora_jennifer says:

I like how they seem to be used to this. How many times has Timmy passed out on the table during dessert?

  29. Molly says:

I’ve heard of eating sushi off a beautiful woman, but this is creepy!

  30. Gert says:

Marney wonders if that is a regulation ice cream serving container…

  31. James says:

I never noticed the little boy until about 30 seconds later trying to see what was so funny about holding ice cream up to your chest.

  32. virginia says:

Did he just fall asleep or did Mom put him down, LOL
