To me, this is a perfect example of the way this site gets nasty. This is a completely non-awkward photo of a family having fun. Bizarre clothes, weirdly stilted poses, various inappropriate public behaviors–fine. But when a mundane picture of a family playing in kiddie pool elicis mocking laughter, I’m out.
Heh, when Slip’n'slides were all the rage, my sister and I made one using a kiddie pool, a garden hose, and one of the rubber/plastic runners people used to place over their hallway carpets to keep them clean. Our backyard, fortunately, was on a slight incline.
Our backyard was the same way, only the incline was more than slight. We set up one of those makeshift runner slides, my mom tried it, and…minor concussion, anyone? Very thankfully, she regained her short term memory function quickly!
New Level 5 water restrictions – you can only wash the kids and your laundry on every odd day and all in the same tub. (People from Australia would sympathise!)
This is actually a picture that my oldest brother posted. He’s the one that’s just like, “Oh. My. Gosh.” I’m not in the picture ( I wasn’t born yet ) But I still made sure this was on facebook
At this point, if that were my husband, he would proudly announce that he was about to “turn this thing into a hot tub” by “making bubbles” and all the kids would run away screaming.
Wait….you mean this isn’t the average family’s Saturday afternoon??

Five people in a kiddie pool is awkward (unless they’re very small), no matter what the relation to one another is.

This reminds me of that.

i hope she never did remember who set up the slide.

i don’t understand the caption!
I don’t get the caption or understand why this picture is up here. The dads in the kiddie pool so what?
That kid looks like Daniel Tosh!
There’s too many kids in this tub
There’s too many elbows to scrub
I just washed a behind
That I’m sure wasn’t mine
There’s too many kids in this tub.

The family gene pool.
Ha ha!
This is definitely one of the most awkward photos in some time. Kids love it when you do that with the slide, though.
Mike’s freshman year Spring Break really sucked.
Yet another reason to love JerseyPam LOL….good one!
Huzzah! Laughed out loud at work! lolaw?
Too many butts in too little water… O_o
“Is it just me, or is the water getting warmer?”
Win!
I love how the oldest kid is just like “Oh. My. Gosh.” And if it were recent? The mom would probably be saying “Yep, this is going on facebook.”

Looks like Anthony Hopkins.
YES! I noticed that too!
Hope one of those kids’ names isn’t Clarice…
Saturday night = bath night
Good one!! The boy on the right seems embarrassed beyond words!
“I’ll never let go, Jack!”
“Give it a rest, Dad.”
Excellent!
Whoo I love it!!!!!
Everyone seems embarrassed to be there except the dad. Even the baby!
Just a hot day in the south.
