“I was just looking through some old albums at home and found this gem. It’s my aunt and I. I’m not sure what was going on in the photo, but I’m guessing that I just got a new haircut and was not so happy with it.”

Most of us had bolw-cuts, didn’t we-at one time or another (70s-early 80s)?! All 26 cousins and I had one of these marvelous coiffs during our childhood. I swear I will not do this to my daughter! Lol.

Actually, it is “My Aunt and I”. Grade school teachers always stressed that.
Nope, it’s “My aunt and me/me and my aunt.” You’d never say, “This is I in the photo.” Well, maybe you would. I don’t know you.

Looks like a cereal bowl was used…. maybe a mixing bowl would have given you longer bangs. Have you forgiven them yet?
What is it with mothers and hacking short bangs? I had a “pixie” and it looked like I had cut my own bangs, for crying out loud. I didn’t get into cutting my own hair until a couple of years later, after I had butched all my dolls and tattooed them.
The bowl cut is nice, as well as the almost absent eyebrows… you look seriously ticked off…!
