Why does every taken in the 70 look exactly like it was taken in the 70s…you never have to guess at the years of the awkwardness.
And then they are off to the Friday night fish fry.
There exists, somewhere, a picture of my mother and her team in the 60′s that looks just like this. It looks just as bizarre after all these years.

omg, so funny Im from MI now living in CA and I see “Bonanza” and think, where in the heck else would they have a crazy name like that and then see Warren, MI. And its true, the ladies look like prof bowlers, from someone who grew up around bowlers, lol.
Sure doesn’t strike me as awkward. Didn’t bowl me over, either. Guess I don’t have enough time to spare,but maybe it’s right up your lane.

Holy cow! I remember Bonanza at 10 Mile & Hoover. For the record, this looked old fashioned even in the 70′s.
