It looks to me like a Photoshop job, decapitation FTW!!!
How is there any decapitation going on? I see the edges of all the Santa hats, and the slightly awkward/forced forward position of their heads tells me that they actually had their heads positioned in holes through this backdrop. And…you can see the edge of the hole on the bottom right girl’s spot.
They couldn’t come up with any present ideas until they decided to use their heads.
As an ad copywriter I always appreciate the great caption writing that accompanies these photos. This subtle holiday line is genius.
