THIS is why there are people protesting Wall Street right now.

  2. Lily says:

My first thought was, they must be okay if they’re willing to get that much dog hair all over their nice clothes.

  3. Michelle says:

Great subject for an Animal Planet reality show.

  4. ms.billysitch says:

Someone should consult Animal Planet about these folks.. THIS WOULD BE AN AWESOME episode of Confessions: Animal Hoarding. My money says they are aliens or something though..

  5. amber says:

    I counted 31, then realized i missed a few and counted 33

  6. Eeer says:

Lordy. That’s a lot of dogs. The lady in the middle, just how many is she holding on her lap? While I think it’s amazing, I wonder how can the sound of dognails on marble ( X33) not drive you nuts? It would be like thunder first thing in the morning!

    • CKN says:

33 dogs X 4 feet each (assuming) X 4 toes each foot (assuming) = 528 toe clicks per second per door bell ring!

  7. Sam Smith says:

I agree, no two dogs would look at the camera at the same time, my Dad couldn’t get all of us 7 kids to look at one time. I think the dogs are stuffed. Yea, stuffed and or garden ornaments.

  8. Mrs. Woodruff says:

Merry Christmas from the Richie Riches and all of Dollar’s pups.

  9. Ann says:

That’s it… there’s no longer any excuse for our standard poodle having so much trouble learning to sit and stay.

Amazing testimony to excellent dog training!

  10. Dee Luttrell says:

This is a bit over the hill or top, whatever!! OMG-heated grass! Why,they are d-o-g-s.I love my animals, they have wonderful food, beds, vet.care, but heated grass? For crying out loud!! Can you imagine all the yapping, and pooping?NO,I fear some obsessive compulsive disorder is surrounding them!! Who the heck needs,or WANTS Nutcrackers by their door,or entry?Come on now,can you say, neuter, and spay!!Just think of ALL the humping when ONE bitch comes in season–THAT is IT!!They ARE perves and sit on heated grass to WATCH all this breeding going on!!LOL!! GET REAL,help some homeless, less fortunate, feed some hungry children!! Send me some money,I need it,really!

    • Seph says:

They obviously have the money to properly care for all of these dogs. The heated grass is a little over the top, but its their money. As for the poop I am sure that they have someone who picks it up every day.

If I had enough money to care for that many dogs I would have a dozen of them, but for now I only have one spoiled boxer.

this family does a lot for its community in all realms, not to mention they have welcomed these needy animals into their home and continue to give them significant care and love. the nutcrackers are obviously christmas decorations, and it’s really weird that that is what drew your attention. they are responsible pet owners and their dogs are spayed and neutered. you’re the one with a filthy mind if “humping” is what first registered with you. heated grass sounds excessive but with a pack that large and animals that size, it is entirely necessary, especially considering that they live in upstate new york which is prone to difficult winters.

you’re an idiot. if you need money, get off the internet and go to work.

      • Sean says:

Difficult Winters? Have you been to Canada? Dogs some how, by miracle… survive. I don’t think heated grass… haha I have no words to say how crazy it is to think that a dog needs heated grass… hahahah difficult winters. hahaha oh man.

Actually, small dogs, especially chihuahuas, are very sensitive to the cold and some don’t even want to go outside in the snow (or extreme cold) to do their business. I have friends in NY whose chihuahua will go out in the winter (with a winter coat on) only about half the time – the rest of the time she uses piddle pads indoors. Since these people have so many small dogs, some chihuahuas, it’s actually quite nice for both them and the dogs they can afford to heat their lawn so the snow doesn’t stick.

  11. Steffi says:

I know these people. This was their Christmas card last year. If you see the original, I think many of the dogs were photoshopped in so they would all be looking at the camera. They are a little odd. Allegedly, these dogs have fur coats (to wear on top of their own fur coats), king sized beds to share, an in-house grooming salon, heated patio floor and more.

  12. Julie says:

its the dog lady from saratoga springs, ny!! she has a book about these silly pups. it’s hilarious.

  13. Tina says:

I counted 33 dogs. How many did you count?

  14. laura888 says:

    LOL crazy pic!!!
the guys nxt to the nutcrackers are pretty hot tho!!!

  15. Ally says:

Yes they’re from Saratoga Springs NY, yes those dogs like getting done up, yes that’s their house…how I know…I sold her 5 Chihuahuas & a Papillon. And yes the dogs have heated grass…money of that stature is nice!

  16. CAD says:

This is a real photograph of a family that is notorious in Saratoga Springs NY. Last count I believe they had 29 little dogs…and a heated lawn

    • Sam says:

Yes, it’s very true.. I can corraborate this; they live about 2 miles from me and are well known. The Mrs. LIVES for her little babies!

      • Local says:

I know of this family. Heard that they have over 30 dogs now, and the lawn is indeed heated- the snow melts almost instantly. Crazy money and too much time!

  17. D ziner says:

the answer of how they did it is one word: photoshop

    • BioHzrd says:

There are too many dogs for this to be considered photoshop. I’m going with a family of dog trainers….that or drugs. Probably drugs.

  18. Lula Lola says:

I’d like to talk to these people. Stepford dogs, I tell ya!

  19. Me and a business partner were actually chatting about this a few weeks ago. We barely agree on any subject, so we just decided that I was right and so was he…but he was wrong (andyou are right!).

  20. Candysland56 says:

They must be some type of Circus act?

  21. CJ says:

This is an EPIC photo! The marble! The gold! The nutcrackers! The near-perfect symmetry of all the humans and animals involved! And everyone is looking in the exact. same. direction. AMAZING. I can’t get my one dog to look at the camera when I take his picture!

I almost want to print this out and frame it. It’s that incredible.

  22. Lily says:

It’s kind of pretty and overwhelming at the same time! I wonder about the story behind this?

    • Christine Wood says:

Such an interesting story. Google Riggi mansion Saratoga Springs for the entire story….poor girl marries rich man, girl loves dogs, she destroys historic house to build extended wing for the dogs complete with heated grass outside and ticks off the entire town. It’s a love/hate relationship between Saratoga and the Riggi family.

  23. Tamara says:

Look at their house, I think they can afford some heartworm prevention.

  24. Be3t says:

For as long as I live, I’ll never understand how they got that many dogs in one place to be still and look at a camera. They must be an entire family of dog whisperers.

  25. Emily_ says:

I hope they can afford heartworm prevention
