Heads Up - Behind The Awkwardness

“My Mother got a great deal on this family portrait, mainly because it wasn’t meant to be for a family THIS size. But we were all together, so she was determined to make it work.”

I gotta send in the one of my family. We had a big studio and it was still silly. I was 9 hours away at college so my grandma cut my head out of my seventh grade photo (I was in college remember at the time of the family photo) and stuck my head on the photo in the back. Embarrassing! My head had time traveled from 1987 just for the photo!!

I really like the picture too. It expresses fun family togetherness and lack of pretense. Everyone looks so likeable. Thanks – made me smile

It actually reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. I like it!

This is hilarious! I’m sure they all have normal-sized heads but this picture would indicate otherwise:) And the poor little guy in front.

My Mom thought it was a bigger studio but the photographer couldn’t have backed up any further. My brother was only there for one day so we had to make the most of it. My mother has an unconquerable spirit. I love her for that!

Call me crazy, but I love this picture. It may not be perfect from a photographer’s point of view, but it captures the personality of the family 🙂 I bet you’re a fun group!

  15. Mustard says:

I guess they should have planned ahead

  16. Kathryn says:

Yep, this is my family. We’ve highlighted the person in their most awkward phase of life (me, right smack dab in the center), split up the couples, crammed out almost all negative space, and made Travis look like a giant.

  17. Kathryn says:

This is my family. And except for one of them who married in, we’re all blood.

  18. Joyell says:

That photographer should have been fired. This is terrible.

    Here’s a story, about a man named “Brady”~
